The post of Governor should be seriously reconsidered. Probably, no need for it now. Only news of friction between the Governors and the state governments emerge unless there is a so called ‘double-engine ki Sarkar’, which in essence is an anti-federal expression and hence against the Constitution. Or, maybe, the post continues with more diluted powers so that federalism is strengthened. India today is the largest country in the world in terms of population and more powers in favour of decentralised governance, especially in socio-economic matters, would serve the country better.

The statement of CJI Chandrachood that how a Governor can do this, means he decided the case, and gave his judgements, without listening the governer/other side. Such criticism means the collegium system should be abolished by the Central Government.

It is a sorry state of affairs a Governor files a case . Constitution gives immunity to Governor under which a Governor can do anything like sexual harrassment or murdering a person with any action . Two sexual harrassment allegation against him still enjoying free life . 2) Respect cannot be demanded , has to be commanded . If Governor has to file a case , it is derogatory to the dignity of the post . Governor may make an introspection into himself . 3) It is humble suggestion ,The Hon'ble Presindent may take a suo-moto step . I beg apology in advance in case I am wrong in any statements .
