Absolutely loved the Rascals! Listened to them on radio stations KEWB, KYA, and KFRC out of San Francisco. Eddie's still got it, along with his beautiful wife. Thank you both
My wife Nan and I have known Eddie and Susan since 1984. She had (has?) her own group, "The Main Event.' She can sing!! I officiated their wedding knee-deep in the Atlantic in St. Augustine, FL. Eddie and I, a best man, another male friend were standing there as Susan with her entourage, including her mother with a walker approached the shore line. Eddie says to me, "We shoulda had some music ." Looking at him, with a "are you kidding me look, I said something like "well, you da man!." He sort of shrugged and began singing "How Can I Be Sure." It was a magical moment and an unforgettable wedding."
I love that Story!!! I learned about and fell in love with him, watching the Young Rascals on Ed Sullivan reruns. I knew he must be romantic. Their wedding must have been magical. Thanks for telling about it!!
I loved it. I am a child of the 60's I liked the song and the Rascals. What I only learned recently is that Eddie Brigati wrote and sang this song. So talented. This was a very tender and touching moment with his wife. Thanks for sharing this moment...
Your a child of the sixties the rascals had a particular sound called blue eyed soul yes they were from New York and there was a band from Philadelphia Called the soul survivors they sound so much like the rascals

Wow, I'm becoming an emotional fellow in my old age. Needed a hanky for this one. Eddie's wife was not what I expected, she has a powerful voice! And a really good sound. She looks so strong. Hopefully she will lose that walker. Very impressed by these 2 beautiful people. I grew up about 20 minutes from Eddie's stomping grounds. God bless the two of you.
I've always loved this song! So beautiful sung solo and maybe even more so as a duet. I love this lady's voice and courage! Ever since I first heard it as a twelve-year-old boy, I imagined myself strolling through the streets of Paris or maybe sitting in a romantic French cafe with the girl of my dreams.
Still a great sounding tune that holds up well. ...It's great to see Eddie. ...It's great to see that band continue to keep that tune alive. ...The tune is rejuvenating!
@Ted Petry This has nothing to do with anti war or peace songs. It's song from a man to woman about being wanted and making sure they are together or not.

I have been a fan of the Rascals from when they first started. I will always be a fan. I just love them. Everyone of their songs has such meaning that you can relate to it. The 60's were the BEST of times. Thank you guys for the greatest music ever.
So beautiful and so loving. I haven't heard that song in so long it was played well it was sung well and it definitely was heartfelt!! God bless them for keeping the music alive

I first saw the Rascals at the ChooChoo bar/club in the early 60s, then at Greenwood Inn at Greenwood lake, all before Ed Sullivan discovered them at Long Island!! still love their songs and singing!

I absolutely Loved The Young Rascals when they first came out... I was overseas in the USAF... I Knew I would be buying all their Albums for as long as they were together.. And I did!!! Love this, but am so sorry Eddie had to sing in a lower key now... But, that comes with age....
