Hey loves... I am genuinely overwhelmed by your support. I love you lots and I'm really grateful, just please give me a little time to reply to you all!
A Scarian (Grian / GoodTimesWithScar) animation (idk why I wrote animatic in the video, I am a little stupid) of the life series ft Third, Last, Double and Secret Life
aha hh everything I would want to say is at the end of the video. Thank you for the support, trafficblr folk!! It is seriously so meaningful to me. I'm sorry I'm bad at drawing humans, at least in a consistent style, and also I'm ASS at outfit design. Obviously animals are my specialty lol. A theme I wanted to do but didn't end uo getting across too well was Grian's wings getting smaller with each series, until they sprout again at the very end

I hope to keep animating with this same motivation and improve my craft. That may or may not mean more life series centered animation, we will see. I would love to animate smth general with all the lifers, dreamy sigh...

Unfortunately I can only allow myself to be proud when I get affirmation from others, but I'll work on that haha, and in this case I've gotten plenty anyway!! Just. Wow. This might be the best desert duo animatic i've seen. The scenes you chose and the way you portrayed them, the fluid animation showing all the emotions they were going through (the expressions!). I especially love the 3rd life part as that was exactly how i pictured it and you brought it to life flawlessly. The travelling together through series part was amaizing too and how it contrasted with Scar dying alone in double life. I love this animation, it brought so many emotions and i know i'll be coming back watch it again and again.

When I first saw the wip of the black shilouette i really enjoyed the song, i listened to the song for hours on end because of how good it was, the song AND the animation is so unbelievably good, how excited we've been to see the full animation and YOU DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! AND THE END MESSAGE???? we almost cried because of how much we understand not having a good year, we're so glad you had fun animating this because my god did it come out amazing, we, collectively and the community would love to see more animations from you in the future!!!

There are too many underrated artists, I agree! Tubby, Nightdreamdraws, so many others, it's a problem. The best we can do is suppport them and try to get other people to realize that the quality of their work is COMPLETELY UNREAL AND AMAZING!

I have a special playlist with all the animations from different fandoms that i have been a part of. I carefully choose pieces of art based on not only the pretty picture, but on how it makes me feel as well. I value the thought and the atmosphere wich the creator tries to convey to the viewer. This video is soaked with emotion. The various color schemes and designs make your creation really stand out. Needless to say, it goes straight to the playlist for me to rewatch it again and again long after I leave the community, so that it'll remind me of how it felt to be in it. In simple words, I'm absolutely in love with the video

this animatic is SO BEAUTIFUL. like grain having wings consistently and all of the bird movements he does, and just the EXPRESSIONS?! AND THE ANIMATION HOW SMOOTH IT IS? this is beautiful, definitely one of the best animation I’ve seen for desert duo.

I dunno if it was intentional or not, but I love the beginning where it looks like Grian loosens his grip on the sunflowers, but Scar hugs the poppies and lilacs tighter... idk, it such a small detail but it feels fitting and symbolic of their personalities as well as their relationship. ALSO I am painfully obsessed with the animation of Grian holding Scar closer in the cactus ring. MY HEARTT DX This animation is so smooth and beautiful, I am absolutely blown away

I've been looping this for the past couple of days and am still speechless. This is a magical animation- I don't know how else to describe it. I love this so so so much, there's so much love and care and passion poured into this and it shines like the sun. Personally I've related to it in a way that's helped me process some of my own emotions and that is the amazing and yummy cherry on top of the best made cake or shake. It makes me tear up with Grian, my chest feel for him and Scar and every little expression(Scar's little smile before it switches to DL; Grian closing his eyes and relaxing into Scar at the end) within these moments. Its an wonderful experience and my head cannot get enough of each frame, transition, and colors- you have done amazing

Wow, this feels like a breath of fresh air compared to all the other animations I’ve seen the life series. All the other ones are mainly focused on like action and other stuff like that. I just love that it’s something different and you can really see how much effort you put in to this video.

I actually screamed out loud "I'VE SEEN THIS OH MY GOD" when the traveling in shadows segment came on. i am inconsolable. ive never seen someone animate the cactus ring scene so beautifully , all of this makes me so so emotional. your little piece at the end also resonates with me a lot , since ive been struggling personally and getting into the life series (along with minecraft in general) has rejuvenated my love for creating art and being invested in stories again. thank you for this beautiful piece of art ❤

i dont know if it was intentional or just me reading too much into it but i love the way that in the part where theyre travelling through seasons in 3rd life grians just letting himself be lead, in double life scar is chasing after grian and in the secret life one grian just finally leans on scar. And then the comparison of double life scar dying alone is just..... heartbreak. anyway amazing animation, really got me feeling things!

oh this hurts so bad but this is incredible holy crap - the way you depicted both scar and grian dying a slow, painful and dark death , completely isolated from eachother with grian dying in the dark cave and scar struggling to push through and inevitably losing his life.. i really have no words, this is a masterpiece. thank you

Dude this is so good, like , everything is animated in some way and the movements feel so natural and fluid and danggg, the emotions and overall atmosphere is portrayed so well through these small but significant movements in their expressions and body language, it is so nice to watch and jus satisfying, and the idea with the wings getting smaller is so cool!! Just overall i also love the symbolism in certain parts and just aaagghh its so well done, i love this animatic so much, its so soft but melancholic? Its just amazing how u managed to portray this complex emotion , its jus mind blowing, I hope you will find more happiness and fullfillment from animating/drawing and enjoy what you do !! Thank u for making this for us to see :]] Edit: and god i just noticed, every scene had at least some form of movement, be ut animal or the person but at the end when scar is hugging grian it is just still, like nothing moves until grian leans into scar and aaaggh its so much more impactful, and ugh, very well done,, a a aa a s, beautiful

I really loved the sequence in silhouettes -- llama -> horses -> camel. That was just so perfectly done. As a new animator myself, I can appreciate how much effort goes into making something FULL COLOR like this. Kudos, and I hope you keep sharing your art with the world :)

Honestly, this is one of the most amazing RU-vid animations I’ve ever seen. Everything in it, from thoughtful details and character designs, a unique color palette for each scene and the production of each frame, to a smooth animation from which you can not take your eyes off. At first I thought that a team of professionals must have been working on such a project. I was pleasantly surprised that it was just you. The animal gaits at 0:55 are so beautiful! Especially the horses running I'm absolutely enchanted! I love how each of the silhouette scenes have a different color palette that contrasts with each other implying a different time and place, and representing a different season. And how Grian rests his head on Scar's shoulder, Scar smiling slightly and then the immediate change in atmosphere. This song gives the animation and desert duo a really unique vibe, I love how you paired the line "how can I forgive you?" with Grian and BigB being together and Scar alone with the jellies comforting him. There are so many more details that I love but I'd be here for a while if I listed them all so i'm going to stop now 😅

The moment I saw the clip of fully animated, fully lined, fully colored and shaded and PAINTED BACKGROUNDS FOR GODS SAKE I was blown away. And then you proceeded to do this for every single frame of the entire animation. You had me open mouthed sobbing in under a minute. The emotions you’re able to capture are so brilliantly fine tuned without a word ever spoken. You are a wizard of animation and the world deserves to know your name
