When you said you were going to have Canadian visitors on tour I though for sure you had a field full of candian Geese. You actually had real Canadians. LOL
I hope you told them there Canadians that "Nebraska; honestly, it's not for everyone." Oh, and to kindly keep their polar express in check. We'd appreciate it.
Siento mucho por todos los problemas por los que está pasando espero que se resuelvan pronto, tengo 74 años y le sigo desde Zaragoza España mis felicitaciones Manuel Alonso
Thanks for the video. Bummer on the state of the new combine. Can you take a moment sometime and show how the head actually physically connects to (or disconnects from) the rest of the combine? I've always been curious what that interface looks like and how it latches nice and securely.
Cale I have run a 988G cat loader with an extended boom, and am now running a 988H with a normal boom, and they weigh about 64 ton and I have over 30,000 hours seat time
Thanks for the video! All / any live streams are welcomed. Sorry for the combine issues. I agree, a failure like that should not have happened so soon.
Cale, sorry to hear about your multiple mishaps! Sometimes the man above needs to remind us when we're pushing the edge of the envelope a bit too far! But, like you said, the important thing is that no one got killed, no one got hurt, just a little ego bruising is all ☺. I'm sure you'll bounce back just fine - that's a farmer's stock in trade. God Bless!
Ouch..... It's a wonder with all the technology available that multi-pivot farm operations do not utilize GPS tracking systems on their pivots to avoid catastrophes.
I USED TO USE ONE AT THE LAST PLACE I WORKED FOR TO HAUL CORN COBS TO GRIND THEM UP FOR DIFFERENT COMPANIES AND IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY IT WAS A JOHN DEERE 924
Cale, as far as the new combine breaking down...even new equipment breaks down. It's frustrating, but, it does happen. On the pivot...I'm a little unsure...did two separate pivots crash into each other?
Sorry for all the problems, Cale, but anytime there's moving parts you're going to have problems. Unfortunately for you, yours are a lot more expensive than those of us non farmers! I can feel for you though as I had a small construction company with dump trucks, trailers, excavators, loaders, Skid Steers, etc. They never broke at an opportune time and that's where good dealer support is important. In addition to the costs to repair the pivot, about how much corn did you loose? Seemed like quite a bit down on the ground.
You just suggested your dough nut making son turn the tractor barn into a skid pad! I would have loved you, at his age, until I lost skin or broke something. I only got road bikes!
brothers amir is leaad ok ! keep go on, go on in the next generation . you guys cannot enjoy the evils dream " you guys have blessing and then don't make it's lose . oh my brothers. ! Amen !
A little ear corn only when the camera is on is probably OK, the risk of horses getting sick from the ear corn or the stalks is too great for many horse owners. Ear corn and stalks might harbor mycotoxins produced by molds (Fusarium spp.) that develop when the corn plant is grown under adverse weather conditions. Not a good idea to feed a lot.
I bought a used $15K Range Rover and, so far, I've had air suspension issues and now fuel injector issues. Almost the same thing. :) Just kidding, of course, but definitely frustrating to buy an effectively new machine and have it fail.
Was that machine built in GI ?? if so they should do like green & yellow does, take through the plant and show you where the mistake happened and how they have fixed it
Murphy Law anything can happen at any given time at least it was under warranty I don't help much though hang in there is bound to get better get water to the corn that's the main thing tomorrow's another day🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷😎😎😎🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷 hang in there bud take care be safe
It is a small world. Just to let you know you are not alone. Farming up in Alberta Canada, all your problems happen here too. Pumping unit overheating and alternator problems this summer. I had a my fault pivot collapse last summer. My neighbor crashed 2 together this summer. Oil leaks and machinery breakdowns daily. Dumb mistakes daily. Jesus is King that is what matters. Move on.
So I'm just gonna say, like I did with Laura. When it's harvest, you gotta be posting that. Not a month ago. We want harvest vids. Relevant and current. Just saying....
5:35 - Say it Mr Cale ... Say it ... I tried to get Laura to talk about this . Cale call Laura . You need her . I have two daughters that adore Laura and I will have to wean them from her channel and move over to yours, as I did . I do not want my daughters to go pull a OnlyFarms stunt on our family business . Laura has avoided this and I fully understand her for shunning my queries on this venue . 25 minutes between Grant's PARENTS farm ... Where Laura is a RU-vidr not a farmer . I'll be damned if my daughters pulled buddy seat duty for years to end up selling my business to chinese financiers or some tech tycoon that wants a farm with two lakes and 16 feet deep top soil for vegetable production minutes away from 3 of the biggest cities in America . No way ... I do not expect to hear from you ... A word of wisdom and pat in the back would have been nice . Call her .
Don't be stupid, case owes him exactly what they are doing for him repairing his used, second hand combine. It's not new, no idea why you or him for that matter are saying its brand new. It's not. It's a used machine with 150 hours on it. Trust me you can do a lot of damage to something in 150 hours.
@@bigteddy66 if YOU can make an enemy out of some you will never meet in 4 or 5 sentences, I’m sure YOU can destroy anything in 150 hours bigbetty66….for half a million dollars and a RU-vidr who will get potentially millions of video views, a loaner would be the least they should do, but I’m not big Betty the combine destroyer either….so there’s that.
@@LEAADFarms I get that, I was just saying they should’ve brought you a loaner or something to use while they repaired this one under warranty. Probably should’ve just kept my mouth shut but I was frustrated for you when I posted that comment.
