Krahn is going to bring an absolute s-storm down on the whole repro creator, seller and collector community. This is certainly going to reach the eyes and ears of Disney/Lucasfilm and Hasbro lawyers and it’s not going to end well.
@@TheLizardmonkey It's going to do for the Star Wars fan repo community what that messed up Star Trek fan film Axanar did for all the other Star Trek fan films. They were trying to launch an actual movie studio by selling merch for their own Star Trek film, and then tried suing Paramount/CBS over the ownership of Star Trek itself. Mental. The sad thing is, that lots of decent and some really excellent productions, like Star Trek Continues (which is an absolute labour of love continuation of the original series) had to shut down, or put up with massively restrictive safeguards CBS/Paramount (who were two separate legal entities at the time and who jointly owned Star Trek between them - they've now merged again) were forced to put in place.
And for what? $100,000 in pre orders? Makes me thing this is a lot about incompetence, pride, and digging in one’s heels despite not being able to deliver on promises. Don’t think this clown was scamming from the start but it certainly turned into a fraudulent mess

People can have their own opinion about TFSB first intentions were not to scam, but my views are very different, I was pleasding with Krahn to send fans pre-order money for both projects for months... By the time December 2019 came (date he originally gave for release) he had NOT sent one penny to the factory, I know first hand, as I was intouch with the factory

Thank you for doing this video Tony.I live in Pennsylvania and I still have my receipt for the 13 figures.I was looking into filing a complaint with the BBB,but had no address for TFSB.Now that someone posted their PA address I’ll be putting in my complaint with the Attorney General.
The BBB is a private organization with no power what-so-ever over businesses. Its just an old lie that extorts companies for a weirdly trusted label. They would be no help at all. The state is who needs to be contacted.
If you haven;t, the FBI or state attorney general needs to be contacted. This is interstate wire fraud. This guy Krahn has a cell in federal prison waiting for him. I'm not kidding.
The Retroblasting review is severe and blunt and truthful. I guess TFSB got their feelings hurt. The way TFSB responded to fans concerns tells me all I need to know about them.

I did exactly this 3 months ago on my own and the AG of Pennsylvania sided with the pos…he defended himself by claiming it was a crowdfunding project from the beginning and that the payment company didnt even side with me (paypal obviously only has 90 day consumer protection). Dont expect much from that AG. Im actually gonna talk to a lawyer about suing the AG for failure to uphold consumer protections - if they arent going to get me back my money by doing their job then I will try to get my money from that crap government.

I still can’t get over Krahn & Sexton going on and on about how long it took to sculpt the bantha and how much hard work was put into getting a workable final sculpt/form factor and how proud they are of the end result. I believe Sexton said it took him a year for example. When the end result is a resin poured, poorly sculpted, barely painted, wobbly looking DOG CHEW TOY… Yeah man, you should definitely be proud of that crap… 🤦🏻♂️ There has been startup companies (Valaverse, Plunderlings, Executive Replicas/Loose Collector horror line, etc) that either were just starting or had been getting started for a short period of time, around 2019 and AFTER 2019, that have released ENTIRE WAVES OF FIGURES and/or ENTIRE PRODUCT LINES in the same amount of time or LESS time…than it took TFSB to crank out a bantha toy that ultimately looks like a teddy bear doll with cancer…
Yeah the Bantha is bad but really I think it is the "13" that is the most damning. With the Bantha there are obvious technical issues that can arise in bringing it from sculpt to production (not that is an excuse as what is being provided is a total fail) but the 13 is essentially things that they should have the know how to move from sculpt to production quickly as all the technical problems would already have been solved with previous figures they just needed to get them made. For the 13 they weren't reinventing the wheel so it's mindboggling they haven't brought them to market.
You hit the nail right on the head sir - IP infringement is in itself unethical, so it's unsurprising when that same iniquity is displayed in other areas of their business practices.

Thanks man, there are quite a few guys outside the US that preordered. We know each other and are preparing to take steps as well. We want to be sure of our steps but it appears there’s a good way to handle this.
Thank you for standing up for the fans as always Tony! Wish the backers of Hell Screamerz could get this kind of support. Same scenario as the one here. Pre-Orders open in 2019. I spend $200 expecting the figures I purchased to arrive Q3/Q4 of 2019. It's been almost 3 years and I still haven't recieved them or any updates since August 2021. The website no long exists. The creator will not give refunds and will block/remove you from the dead and privated toy group if you speak out and its just completely flown under the radar of everyone.
Although I didn't order any of these products, I have been burned by a different toy vendor. Really enjoyed this video and the spirit of advocacy you have. Great video, Tony!
I have paid in full for the 13 and am sure I'll never get anything. This is all VERY useful information - thank you! I hate feeling powerless to do anything about the situation.
A quick tip for anyone without a receipt. Go to your bank branch and get a statement printed from the time period when you purcnased your products. Some banks will be able to and some wont depending on what they can access. I did this successfully as part of a claim for another unrelated fraudulent business AS WELL as the formal fair trade business complaint, and also file a claim with your credit card company or paypal or whatever method you used.
I always appreciate your videos and your honesty about what is going on out there. I almost pulled the trigger on the 13 figures as I grew up with Kenner Star Wars figures and this seemed to be a great way to have some more happy childhood feelings. But something felt off and I didn't preorder and god am I glad I didn't. I'm so sorry for all those affected by these scammers. Toys should be fun. These guys give the whole small custom industry a very bad name.
Thank you Tony! Unfortunately, I too ordered the unreleased 13 figures back in 07/2020. About a year or so ago I reached out to Chris Krahn and after a lot of back and forth, he "realized" that he had not shipped me the only available figure at that time; which was the surprise 13th figure (Admiral Thrawn). I hate to admit that the quality of that figure is superb. However, there continues to be no end in sight as to when I would receive the remaining 12 figures. I had pretty much given up on ever seeing those, until I found this video. I just now finished filing a complaint with the PA-AG via the link you provided. Although I am not expecting much to come out of that, but at least I have some satisfaction knowing that I did something. I am interested to know for the others that might have also filed complaints, do you ever hear back from the PA-AG, besides the confirmation email? Were any complaints resolved at all by them? Anyways, thanks again Tony for taking the time and effort to help us out!
This was all very much a plan of Krahns, when he bought SLC off me, it was for the name. The reason why Thrawn is so good quality, is because it was my original factory that made it. Krahn then got them out, so eveyone thinks everything is going to be great, but then he left that factory for a cheaper one, he sent no pre-order money for the Bantha or 13. He left, and that's why I started Stan Solo and tried to make eveyone aware of this crook. If it was me, I'd move on and just put to bad purchase and experience, but I fully understand and respect others taking action, however it is unlicensed goods so I don't see much hope in that, I just hope Krahn gets what he deserves.
@@Chris365Smith That makes perfect sense as far as the Thrawn figure goes, as I have purchased many, many carded & loose figures from you in the past and totally reflects that same fantastic quality. I have pretty much moved on from this TFSB experience, but at the same time; filing complaints with certain government agencies at least makes me feel somewhat vindicated; even though I already know they most likely will wipe their behinds with these complaints. So on a side note, any chance you might produce those 12 unreleased figures instead? I can't think of a better way for everyone to be able to finally own those figures and know they will be great because they are being produced by Stan Solo!
Now that it’s clear that the Krahnta had been made with silicone molds instead of tooled metal, they should have plenty of funds left to issue refunds.
Hi Tony! Enjoy your content and had a question I hope you can help me with. I don't know the history behind Fans Strike Back and I guess I might have confused them with Stan Solo as another source of custom SW figures, but I placed an order over a year ago for a Slave Leia on card with coin for $75 with Fans Strike Back. Is this item also something that hasn't been shipping out to buyers like myself? Am I pretty much ripped off like it seems so many others? The sad part is as much as it sucks loosing my money, I really regret missing on a vintage style Slave Leia which I could have and I wish I should have ordered from Stan Solo if I only knew about him at the time. :(
Krahn has been doing this for many of his supposed ‘in stock’ items as well as preorders.. he takes people’s money, but screws most over by and plays games. Always an excuse as to why he hasn’t shipped someone’s product. You need to file a complaint.
I'm from PA. Josh Shapiro was our Attorney General. He's sadly our Governor now. I'm sure if he learned of this while in the AG's office he wouldn't have done anything. He's a crook himself. The new PA AG is Michelle Henry. I don't know much about her so let's hope that she'll do something.
Thank you for your story. I only knew about the Retroblasting call-in livestream because I caught the last five minutes of your response. Otherwise, I'd have participated and given my two cents. I wanted to re-watch your response in full a few days ago but couldn't find it. I immediately thought it could have been a copyright strike but thought I was being silly and chalked it up to something else. Dumbest copyright claim I've ever come across! I encourage anyone to immediately screenshot any post made by Krahn and any of his goons. I started when he claimed we could hold him to a target release date that came and went with no acknowledgement or apology. The more ammo you have for your complaint the better. You've given me hope that maybe I can get my money back for the bantha & 13. More importantly, I look forward to you being exonerated and will rejoice to watch that video again when you re-post it.
@@boblowes Thanks for the encouraging words. TBH, the day before Tony posted this video I'd been researching options via small claims court. I came to the conclusion that it wasn't truly feasible as an option. If nothing else, an AG complaint might trigger an investigation that results in PayPal & credit card companies not servicing TFSB anymore. Hard to run an online store if you can't take electronic payments. Fingers crossed that we all get some sort of justice or karma out of this.

Dean from AT80s did a video about the 13 a day or so ago at the time of this comment. I think he would be perfect to engage this to get his money back...
the case might fall under the False advertising rule, in that a store must honor the selling of an item that is advertised with a certain price, so in target if it says on the shelf, that socks are 4 dollars and the register rings up 7 dollars, they must honor the shelf price as it is advertised, also, i think when they say that they can't sell an action figure on the shelf because it wasn't entered into their stock system yet, is on them, and that they have to sell it because it's on the shelf with a price next to it, being advertised as "for sale", to not sell it, would be a case of False Advertising, which is illegal
I just got a response from them on my last 13 asking for a refund. They said “You aren’t. We have stated many times refunds are not possible. Thanks, the team @ The Fans Strike Back” I filed a complaint with the BBB and FTC for fraud.
I would add a link to BBB Better Business Bureau. They also investigate not only state but press federal charges in the US against any business at retail or online that makes fraudulent claims or products below the standard the have stated in printed or digital form. If they are found to continue these claims there business license can be revoked, fines incurred until marketplace trust is re-established. As well as the materials in this the bantha pose a child serious safety risk. The plug can be shallowed, the bungee cord can choke and thumbnail tack can be remove and shallowed. All leading to the harm or death of someone just like boba’s rocket. CPSC Consumer Product Safety Commission investigates claims of dangerous or hazardous consumer products and toys licensed or not
I’m not a Star Wars fan, I appreciate the films for their place in film history (and love Revenge of the Sith and enjoyed The Mandalorian), but I have been following this situation as a fan of fandom and a toy collector myself (Doctor Who, mainly). I am sorry that you, Michael, and other fans have been used by people like The Fans Strike Back and I hope, whether through legal action or the company owning up, that you and others get the refunds you deserve!
Considering how this Bantha isn’t as described, and is being churned out in some dude’s basement that he’s calling a ‘factory’, it may be a blessing you haven’t received. You still deserve your money back though. This is NOT what was advertised..
I have not ordered the bantha or the 13 figures from TFSB, but still watched this video as I think this has been a total disgrace. I am aware of pretty much everything that has unfolded and think it is unfair on how the people who have backed this project have been treated. I am not a fan of the TFSB, but I am a subscriber and fan of yourself and Retroblasting and also Chris Smith at Stan Solo. Keep up the good work and the good fight.😀
It's bull shit like this, that I try to avoid star wars altogether these days. Disney handling of property has been mix. most of it content has been moved to it streaming service. Hasbro is have been making the worse decisions with star wars line. Finally the fan base is getting toxic. However between you and Michael do make interesting videos on star wars vintage toys. Plus you gentlemen are honest about your opinion on the subject, and these days honestly is becoming more rare than a lost toy prototype.
