You say we are now completely strangers
But how can we be strangers?
When the love that we carry still lingers in our hearts like the scent of a sweet perfume
I still remember your name, the name that is a part of my everyday life....
So how can we be strangers?
I remember the first day I looked into your glittering eyes, and i was caught by your beautiful smile, a day I will always cherish...
So how can we be strangers?
Your presence is still felt by my lonely soul every single night, with no one to hold...
So how can we be strangers?
We intellectually manifest ourselves in our dreams with the moments we once created
So how can we be strangers?
The days of joy and happiness still repeat in our heads like a beautiful music piece...
So how can we be strangers?
When our souls are spiritually intertwined and never separated...
How can we be strangers?
When we cry every night about the days that are no more
As the days fall like the sunset of a beautiful sky
When our hearts are open to one another like an open door
The freedom we both wish to obtain is in the wings of a beautiful angelic bird that can no longer fly
Tell me... how can we be strangers?
If the deepest desire of our hearts is to continue till the earth comes to an end
When we neglect our minds from the thought that we can just be friends
When all hope seems to be lost, we both hang onto faith for dear life
As the unfortunate fate of love lingers like the darkness and continues to hurt us like a sharp edged knife
From complete lovers to your complete delusion of being strangers
The delusion that is harmful to one's heart with an infinite amount of danger
When we obssess on the dreams we wished to accomplish together
And when we never gave up because we knew that we were going to last forever
So tell me... how can we be strangers?
If the love you have for me dwells in your heart like an angelic melody
That enters your ears as you manifest the thought of being in love...
How can we be strangers?
And if we still know of our existence, that we both forged into the book of life
Remembering the days when we once brought each other to the light
So enlighten me, how can we be strangers?
If that is what you wish was true
That is the question that i cast upon you
But how can we be strangers if we can still tell each other..."I love you."
