any idea what is needed and exactly how to hardwire from the android tablet to the receiver? i love the wireless feature...but ...its nice to know u can hardwire the unit if need be. i cant imagine my receiver ever being more than a couple feet from my tablet

thanks for the video. I'm surprised you went through the trouble of making such a nice video, and didn't go the extra step and hook up at least one moving head for it. Would have been nice to see. Anyway, is there any ability to audio trigger my lights using this software? Can I use a mic input, or even internal mic on my tablet for dance-to-sound modes?

Hello Vaughn Wooster, you can use the internal mic to pick up the BPM on the songs so i can sync up to it. yes a moving head would have been cool but trust me it works flawlessly for heads as well. if you have further questions please feel free to contact me my name is Rich or email me at Richp.@idjnow.com thanks

Looks like I will need a another tablet to run this. My first tablet runs DBX drive rack via my wifi router. I will reference the DBX throughout my show. So disconnecting from the Driverack to reconnect to the ADJ dongle is what this looks like.??

I use it with my HD Fire 10 LOL but I noticed the Internal MIC does Not Work have you tried it Yet the BPP Tap Works The Clock etc works but I cant get the MIC to work let me know if its just me

I have the Chauvet EZ Wedge Tri up lights, did ADJ forget to include these in the menu? Anybody know a work around?

I am about to buy mydmx go and I was wondering if I would be able to control my all of my lights together at the same time. I have 2 Chauvet Fx, 2 chauvet moving heads, 2 par lights and 2 wash bars

Hello, The my dmx go unit will work as a wired DMX controller, so long as the correct light profiles are used, you shouldn't have any issues.

is anyone having issues with this dongle losing connection? I use an IPAD to run DMXGO and it sucks- every time I walk 6 feet or more away from the dongle it loses connection, I have had it replaced and still doing the same thing.

Curious if this will work with a hybrid dimmer pack that has Traditional Par Cans and DMX led lights coming out of it. Would it be able to control those as well?

Hello Chad, you can but you would have to create a 4 channel custom profile pretty much to raise and lower the fader for 1 channel. Thx

Hello, Unfortunately there is not another application as such. I would urge you to checkout ShowXpress, as they have an iOS/Android app that allows mapping on a tablet. You won't be able to "Preview" it, however.

Do you need to use the donner transmitter on each of your fixtures for this to work? Lets say I have 12 uplights, do I need 12 dongles?

It sounds like you're looking to do a wireless connection, yes you would need a transmitter to send the signal and receivers for the lights.

you can use it with any DMX fixture, you can program it yourself when you add fixtures based on its color options (RGB, RGBA, etc) and channels

tell me this is not just the "Light Rider" app just re-branded with the my dmx go logo on it ....it does all the same stuff and looks 90% the same layout .....so did they just buy out the rights to the app and re-branded it or would the old light rider app work just as fine as the my dmx go app?

It all depends on how many channels the moving head has. The MYDMXGO has 256 channels. If you are running them with a master/slave setup so they all do the same features then you can use all of them. If you are looking to have each one do a different function then you will need to see how many channels each light needs and go from there.

I'm looking at 3m45s on your video and I am trying to manually override two basic fixtures I have here. The app recognises them fine, but having manually overridden the settings (fader turns from grey to blue), they soon after revert back to an automatic show with grey moving sliders again. How do I lock in my manual settings for each fixture long term (so that the faders stay blue in colour)? It's driving me crazy!

Hello DJ Martin Taylor, first if your fixture has a profile on the software thats a good start, the next step is to make sure the channel mode matches the same mode on the lighting software as well as the channel on the lighting fixture. if that doesnt work please reach out to me at richp@idjnow.com for further assistance. I found my lights listed twice in fixtures (Intimidator Spot 360) but neither show the gobo pictures when open that window. Is that a program error or something else? Also, blackout or freeze functions don't lock to on, have to hold finger on it to keep.

It's possible the DMX profile is corrupt, we recommend reaching out to ADJ for up to date light profiles.

You can set preset scenes only, it would not create a timeline show.

How would I control chauvet freedom par lights with this? I know I must connect a cable from my DMX Go to the freedom par but don't know what settings on the freedom par in order to allow it to control the other pars?🤷‍♂️

this thing is worthless, I contacted ADJ for months now and they sent me a new unit and still does not work, signal drops constantly I have given up- maybe this is not compatible with IPAD, I went back to my Luminair program and never have any issues with connectivity.

DJ Yarecki basically ADJ is the US distributer of Light Rider. The Light Rider App will still work with the ADJ Airstream with a paid license.

just bought this. On ipad all is working fine; however on android tablet we have issues. Mainly the dimmer slide is not working! I have 2 fixtures and a strobo. the main dimemr slider should overrule all settings, and it doesn't work on android tablet! this is very annoying as we want to use this for our band live show! For me it's unacceptable that the adj mydmx go software works on ipad but not on android tablet!!!

This program runs terrible on an iPad I have not tried a surface pro however the program is great just needs updates and a few tweaks.

@@idjnow-gear-up it comes with no password on a sticker.you have to download the pdf to get it,you should have explained that very important part. Also that these things dont just magically work like youre making out they do. They require fixing by connecting to your pc and installing the firmware, the product is not fit for sale
