The problem is that in today's world we see education in a very low way as we see tiktokers or pseudo-intellectuals making a lot of money by their bro-sciences, which makes us think what's the use of studying so hard getting a degree sacrificing all our youth time whereas these tiktokers or RU-vidrs are earning more money as well as gaining fame since we as human beings strive for validations.
Their priorities. If money is the only priority, dedication towards any work will bring you the sum, but say if u are an engineer and want to invent something for the benefit of the society, than that will be the priority in this case. There are still people like that who genuinely want to work on science and other fields and not do RU-vid and tiktok to get fame and earn quick money. We just have to find what we really want to do with what we have and the answer will be easy.

I am an engineer i passed out in 2018 got placed it was a low paying job but eventually i did it , and i did hardwork upgraded my skills got special increments & i was earning more than my fellow classmates who got placed in the same company and now i left for another organization i am earning way more than them Secondly before looking on what you are getting just see do you have the skills for what you are demanding

If companies don't come to your college then create some projects, build your portfolio, do competitive programming, or contribute to open source then apply to companies through LinkedIn and connect with people. You will definitely get job at least 6lpa+ job
It's ironical that we make teenagers, the ppl known for making the dumbest decisions decide what they want to do/pursue for the rest of their working lives.
And that's also when they are 14-15 years old. They know literally nothing and given the responsibility of choosing a specific career which they can't even change afterwards and now have to stay with them for life :(

I started RU-vid and got upto 300 views during lockdown and I know that making even a 3 min content somtimes take a week if you are editing and recording on your own ...... I uploaded upto 7 montages bit had studies to focus on so I just quit.... Now I'm not in the game I recorded for and now I know ur took a lot of time for editing and stuff

No one gives a shit about your Engineering degree except as an entry point . It's only skills that rule .... Skills rock.... degrees/PG's flop..... I did specialised courses (after engineering) only to realise that people with those skills earn more than ones who have done the course and try for jobs.....Work on your skills and make sure you have a decent % in engineering atleast (65-70%) as an entry level guy . Look what is trending in market and skill yourself accordingly . Do some research as Shwetabh rightly points out . Use RU-vid just as an add-on in the long term .
