Hey Sam, I've watched a fair few of your videos and they've helped me a lot! I think I have probably a similar story to yours with pocd & real event ocd. I'm having issues connecting authentically with friends because this has been such a large part of my life and I'm hiding it from them but don't want to say too much given the taboo themes and real events. Any advice on how to form intimate relationships without this shit getting in the way? Thanks. Maybe can organise a call?
If I think about my saliva, my mouth produces more saliva. So it has to be real. Whats discourages me tho is that unlike many other things that you CAN control, your saliva is something u cant :(
False memories. It is not listed anywhere in the DMS or other manuals of mental illness, and rightly so. It seems to me that the problem is not in the false memory itself, but in the cognitive processes of the human brain.
