My favorite story out of Canada is a paraplegic woman lived in a house that had stairs leading up to her front door. She asked the government for aid to pay for a wheelchair lift so she wouldn't have to crawl up and down the stairs any time she had to leave her house. The government denied her request because they said it " Wasn't financially viable" for them to pay for it and instead offered to pay for her to " Euthanize" herself. They literally went " Eww, a cripple, we're not helping you, delete yourself"
@@waltermh111this happened like 4 times and it was all 1 guy working at the Canadian VA, and they fired him. The person this happened to was ineligible to actually get medically assisted suicide. Guy was just a prick. Y'all blowing stuff out of proportion
Voting is what gets you people into trouble. “Your voting habits should NEVER dictate HOW others live. Your voting habits should ONLY dictate WHO you live with.”
@@josephcoon5809sounds incredibly xenophobic. I prefer forcing my views on those by force, especially since the only people with guns anymore is the govt, so, you know, wtf are they going to do about it.
Why wouldn’t people indulge in delusions of virtue when it makes them right, intelligent, and in the cool club all at once? No brained for the useful idiots.
Yeah, how do they plan on doing that? Their dictator has already shown what he will do to anyone who opposes him (trucker protest). Too bad they gave up all the means to replace the government with one of their own choosing. Now only the government stormtroopers, and the elites private armies, have those. Hope the peasants have fun toiling for their lords.
@@Allegheny500 How many times do you repeat the mistakes of others before you get the results you want... Kind of like double or nothing until Justin wins then we are done?
Anybody willing to get angry at assisted suicide and the availability of recreational drugs isn't going to care that giving people back their dignity with a manageable standard of living is good for everyone Trust me if Bill Maher told people that Residential School thing was a success except for a couple dead kids there's a lot of people who would be on board with restarting the program
Came here as a immigrant 25 years ago, brought 7 figures with me, fiscal ones, not physical ones with a angry sky fairy......leaving while I still can. I've watched this country be destroyed in a decade.
Making sure what problem at moment lib/ndp coalition government does every wants no regard common sense governance. They don't lesson or serve Canadian. All seen corruption highest rate history Canada, this reason Canada falling apart
Remember when people used to say "ah doesn't matter who you vote for. its all the same anyway." Let this be the lesson. No, it DOES matter. Yes, it CAN get worse.
No, we are not the laboratory. Our government sees another part of the world trying to do something and fail, only to reattempt it 2-6 years down the road but with a “hold my beer” attitude.
In 2004 I wrote a somewhat famous article called 'Top 8 reasons not to immigrate to Canada'. In short, the Canadian authorities tried to destroy my life. They made it so that I could not be employable in Canada. So I moved to the U.S. in 2005 and then some years later I moved permanently to the Philippines. I am happy that so many years later videos like yours are saying essentially the same things that I did. I was ahead of my time. I will never go back to Canada. Not to live, not to visit, not even a connecting flight. Too cold, too expensive, taxes are astronomical, no culture, no freedom, no jobs, no opportunities, only modern slavery, worst healthcare system, unbearable political correctness, crime infested/drug infested, xenophobic people, too depressing. It has become a North Korea style dictatorship in the western world. There are many reasons why Canada has fallen apart. But the number one reason is ‘multiculturalism’. My friends, multiculturalism simply does not work. Different cultures do not come together and mix, different cultures come together and clash. The world is divided into different countries for a reason: because people hate each other and only want to be with their own kind. The number two reason for Canada’s demise is ‘socialism’. In this modern era of aging populations, it is mathematically impossible for socialism to continue. The government does not have the money to take care of old people and provide healthcare, pensions, welfare, unemployment benefits, disability benefits and the numerous other programs, even with the astronomical taxation that burdens hard working Canucks. Well Canada, you had a good run. Time for Canucks to move to an emerging country. We welcome you here in Southeast Asia. Multiculturalism destroys the fabric and identity of a country. Socialism bankrupts a country.
Don't blame the people. They are the symptom not the cause.. People are being manipulated into voting left or right.. So the vast population (of any country) fight each other through differing political ideologies. Rather than pointing the finger at the source; the politicians. .. Agree multiculturalism doesn't work...
If you think multiculturalism doesn't work, why move to the Philippines? In the Philippines, multiculturalism seems to flourish. Various different native groups (and outsider influence, including but not limited to Japanese, Americans, Spanish, Chinese and even Germans occasionally) seem to hold many different cultures. Cultures do clash, undeniably, but the Philippines is representative of the fact that multiculturalism can work. Besides, you need only look south to America to see how multiculturalism works as well.
America is a warning about putting profit before people. Canada about putting feelings before people. Britain about not changing ruling parties regularly. Be it Tory, SNP pr Welsh Labour.
It's not immigrants' fault if white Canadians elect radical left-wing politicians. It's the fault of the average Canadian who doesn't know how to vote.
I am a Canadian who used to be proud to say so. I have been disgusted with the country and its government representatives in recent years, however. Make the nonsense stop.
Canada also looked at the Netherlands and the euthanasia program the employ. The bigger issue is that the Dutch are desperately trying to role back what they consider a euthanizable disease
As an American, it’s weird. When I was young Canada as was model state, one that the US needed to emulate because they just seemed to do everything better domestically than we did. No, even with the scores of issues US society has, all but the far left think that Canada is a country worth emulating.
Just because a policy does something that the politicians claim is an "unintended consequence" doesn't actually mean that it was unintended. They just don't want to claim the consequences that were the point of the legislation.
@@Zaprozhan There's nothing to prove, these are just the consequences of poorly managed policies and conflicted corporate interest over public interest.
@@Zaprozhan read the WEFs own website. Theyve published books, videos, speeches, and conferences telling us outright what their plans are. And guess what. It's this. (See the gvmt attacks all around the western world on farmers and livestock?) "Scotland is too white" for example. How the heck did we get here? How did we become the cautionary tale?? Smh man, i miss Canada 🇨🇦. The real Canada. Not whatever the country has become now
It's completely intended Who woulda thought that making hard for builders to operate and importing a million people into a small area would create a housing crisis? Not to mention allowing foreign investment to hold properties
I don't believe it is unintended consequences if the consequences are directly brought up by the opposition and the opposition is shouted down. If people tell you the consequences and you don't listen you wanted those consequences.
Well, your military is known for causing several additional lines in the Geneva Suggestions. I think it’s the small population gets to try new stuff a lot quicker.
I mean allowing euthanasia would increase the rates but also suicide rates decreases at a similar rate to the people who would not have died soon so it just seems a little more humane to do that. You see a 2.2% to a 3. Something rate and in the same period suicide rates decreased by about 10% or so between 2020 and 2021 so the system does not seem to be negatively impacting these rates.
Free health care has made the system, OHIP, ( Ontario Health Insurance Plan) would rather perform an assisted suicide than have the expense of surgery. I am one example. I need 46 years old and need a total knee replacement. It took 5 years for my first orthopedic appointment. At first, I was not eligible for a knee replacement until age 60. Then I was told maybe in 10 years at age 56 I might be able to receive the replacement. After talking to my family doctor, 4 months when making an appointment. I requested assisted suscide. It took 3 weeks for the health unit to contact me and schedule an appointment with a Psycharist. Disquieting, it is time to dismantle Canadian health care.
As a Canadian I don’t recognize my country anymore for example growing up i saw almost zero homeless people now no matter where you go there is always someone walking around looking like a zombie because of how bad drugs have gotten almost evey park has crack heads living in it its absolutely heartbreaking to see the state this country is in
That’s better than what Australia did with news on social networks. Here the social networks pay to send traffic to the news sites which seems backwards but then this is clearly a service but no Goods/Services Tax is charged on this transaction.
The Facebook thing is just because they are unhappy that Canada wants them to pay taxes and obey laws. So unfair! Corporations are legally people too, you big bullies!
This reminds me of the suicide booths in Futurama. Was an eerie prospect but I can't say that people shouldn't be allowed to do so. Just need to make the world a better place to live in
Dont fool yourselves. This is all intended and according to plan. This isnt where it starts either. Its already slithered in and is in full swing. Canadians are just too blind and powerless to do anything about it.

Why is it that the argument for drug policies from right leaning people is the same as the one that they rail against in regard to gun control? Is it the people who are responsible, or are the products to blame? It seems to me that you can easily use the same arguments to defend either one.
The thing is that all these problems are caused by the rich refusing to pay their fair share. I need my fellow Canadians to understand that no matter if its Trudeau or Peepee or anybody else they will just continue to cater to their rich friends and let regular Canadians suffer with an increasing cost of living. Wake up its not left VS right, it's Up VS Down.
It is just a moment in Canadian history. I have confidence our cousins to the north will make it through this horrific time. As those who live through Mussolini, Franco, and Hitler. Will one day regain their sense and demand a true better world. Love and respect from the states
Actually, those ideas all come from other coutnries... but the issue is those other countries incorporated those ideas in a complex policy network, not haphazardly. The drug issue was taken from Spain, the news issue from Australia, etc, etc... In those countries they have systems that work. Canada just slaps policies randomly without considering that the other countries spent lots of time and money planning and instituting those policies properly alongside other policies to support hem.
When someone is standing on the edge of a building you don’t tell them how to jump so they can die the fastest you talk to them and help them live. Euthanasia is no different then pushing them man off the building yourself and should have never been brought in as an option it is disgraceful
Maybe the fundamental contradictions inherent to an economic/political system can’t be resolved by applying bandaids that don’t change anything fundamental about that system…

Positive change always has negative consequences. If we aren’t open to dealing with them, they become the new bad. We just have to realize that with positive change the work is never ending, just like with ourselves.
Canada can fix the problem by simply outlawing negative reporting or commentary on government policy. This would be in keeping with the other policies. You're welcome.
It's interesting that the takeaway lesson from the assisted suicide part of your program is that assisted suicide should not have been liberalized instead of we need to improve health care and housing and ensure that poverty does not push people towards suicide...
