Interesting however it would be more beneficial to also include steps a user could take to prevent cars from collecting data and transmitting them back to manufactures. I can understand this could be out of scope for this topic however the author could provide resources or point the viewer in the right direction.

This is crazy. Why would car manufacturers want or need data on your sex life or mental health? I recently rented a Nissan and connected to it with my phone. I had no idea they collected this type of information. I am not happy.

Because they can then sell that information to ad companies. So they can tayler ads to you personally! That's a huge market. It's all about getting more money out of you!

This doesn't tell me anything I don't already know. Every manufacturer of every product will include a privacy disclosure that similarly says they can collect whatever data they want at any time at their discretion and without any notice and use it for whatever they want and if you don't like it you can find a different product to buy that's not theirs.
