To bring the panther to life, Cartier first creates a large-scale sculpture of the animal which is scanned, scaled down and then printed in 3-D. How does this statue suggest the panther’s movement and the power? By carefully modelling the head, ears, muscles and paws; it requires the creative, subtle work of a sculptor.
