This is how case carts are cleaned after the procedure is finished. First they bring it to the decon room and we put it through the cart washer so it can be used for picking cases in the assembly side.

The hospital I work at still aren't computerized. Our sinks are too small to fit a rectangular tray so we have to soak one half first then lift and turn the tray and soak the other end. Our lone Steris cart washer breaks a lot so we end up washing carts by hand. One question 2thang2, how is the temp in your decontamination area? Mine is very warm probably in the mid 70's and with all the PPE attire it is unbearably hot. Can't wait to get experienced and move on to a more modern hospital.
socal benny that’s how I started off at kaiser. They have a big fat binder that we had to write down everything. The temperature in my decon is 65 degrees or at least it’s supposed to be lol. And yeah it can get pretty hot there in decon
Cooking Up Content well your pay is based on experience. The kaiser I worked at started you off with $30 an hour. I work at a different hospital now because they offered me a higher pay rate.
