Security firm Global Threat Solutions has protected the likes of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and hosts trainings for new bodyguards trying to break into the field. Business Insider followed five new recruits on a three-day training in Long Island, NY. I dono in an executive environment, however, in PSD (high risk security) you are actually actively engaging targets. Take a look at their video's, its pretty intense. @@coolwolf506 I work for a security/P.I. company as an armed guard and P.I., the company has contracts and does its own training. Using our own facilities. You can look up executive protection training (if you're in the us, as that is strictly what I am knowledgeable on) and find numerous instructions. There's one who mainly trains on the east coast whom my boss is friends. The classes are rather expensive, I've yet to see on for less than 1,200 usd. ESI is a great set of classes.

Well, it doesnt look like you could get hired with a HS Diploma and 4 years of entertainment and sporting event Security, Sporting and Entertainment Security can get pretty intense and could get into dangerously heated situations fairly quickly, you can carry alot of that high level top tier experience into this... But I guess our resume has to say "Yea I studied and served at the highest capacities, College degree, former detective, former police, military ops, and I'd stick my neck out for you, I'd die at a moment's notice where do I need to sign????" And that's great!!!

Just imagine. There is a speaker at an event. Someone tries to attack the client, heck they could attack anyone for this matter. The client’s security team gets to the client, and gets them out of there. Butttt, the security detail was the only ones allowed in with a known weapon.
