MBC-TV's new drama "Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung” is a romantic comedy directed by Kang Il-sung, starring Cha Eun-woo of boy group ASTRO and actress Shin Se-kyung.

The director and the main cast showed up for the new show’s press conference at the broadcaster's headquarters in Seoul on July 17, 2019. The first episode of the Wednesday-Thursday series launched later that day, at 8:55 p.m. Korea time on MBC and Netflix.

anytime I see an interview w/him all they ever talk about is his looks...you'd think that's all he had to offer. Someone should tell these people there's more to life than just being good looking

AR_TRINI u could look his interview with single magazine. Both he and shin she kyung were interviewed because of their new drama rookie historian goo Hae Ryung. Shin was very understanding of how people just saw his beauty and she said his best attributes are how bright and humble as a human he is. I hope he surrounds himself with people who see more than his beauty. I personally got to know his because of this drama and I like him but not because of his looks but he seems genuine and a good person. I highly recommend u find this video of their single magazine interview. It’s very nice. And easily found on RU-vid.

Cha eun woo is correct. Beauty is subjective and everyone has their own charm and beauty. It all depends on the person looking.I am tired of people focusing on his looks after awhile it gets old. Physical looks will fade overtime and everyone will get old someday and lose their youthful looks and physical beauy.His parents raised him well with manners and breeding. More than his excellent and perfect physical qualities. It is his inner beauty that shines through him that makes people get drawn and attracted to him.

Nahh... Lies! Physical handsomeness/prettiness is way more POWERFUL than you think. Would you rather sit beside an alien? In your heart (honesty) says NO! People still believe this "looks don't matter" "inner beauty" horsesh*t! He is SUPER lucky to be that so handsome! No other men will beat him.

Exactly!! Everyone that has worked with him says that he is very hardworking and has many other talents but people always focus on the fact that he is handsome. It must get very tiring for him.

Eu Woo indeed has a pure inside and outside beauty. In one of the interview, actually he feel embarssed to be called s "Face Genius". I'm in 💪🏻 I have been traumatized ever since Scarlet Heart drama and have not watch any period drama eversince. This is my first drama after all those years and if it ended like how scarlet heart ended, I don't think I have anymore faith to watch period drama 😭😭😭

En definitiva Cha Eun-woo tiene una cara muy bonita y es por eso que impresiona a la mayoría que lo ve, aunque en definitiva en el drama se ve mejor con el cabello levantado porque adelgaza su cara aún mas de lo que ya la tiene y resalta sus facciones delicadas, que así como normalmente luce sus cabello.

She's like that in other interviews too. Even on comedy- type variety shows she always looks tense. If you look at her even when she's acting, you'll see that she hardly smiles. To me, she only has one look - an expressionless, emotionless face.

I hope it's not coz of the media focusing only on Eunwoo's looks and not on the drama or other actors ... I too feel it becomes annoying, even Cha Eunwoo said it in one of the variety shows..

Shin Se-Kyung always looks so tense and uncomfortable, both in interviews and acting. I have no idea how she gets cast.
