This legitimately made me cry. It was like watching something primal and mystical. It reminded me why jewelry makers and metal smiths used to be revered in the past. Great job to those made this. Thank you.
The craftsmanship is unbelievable! I could only wish to have that skill! Am I the only one who finds that I want to be the one to make these works of art more than own them?
+MADEbySOUL The craftsman must have given his entire life to learn this craft and acquire this skill. Some of us cannot own this kind of ornaments and neither can we learn the craft to make them. Our mundane lives are way too complicated to come out of our own struggles but when we see these videos. We realize there is a world out there where people have a craft which is rare to find and very difficult to acquire. However, I think you have a very beautiful taste for aesthetics. Blessed be and thanks for the very interesting comment.
I work with students, and I dont think you realize just how important these videos are...in an age of fast fashion, young students thing its all so easy...made in China, comes to your home quickly...no need for skills, technique or years of training. Thank you!
The thing sad about fast fashion is that ......it makes people think the word - fashion - is CHEAP & WORTHLESS. But if you ever touches the world of real fashion/high fashion , you know there is endless possibilities & jobs . To me , I make my own clothes even shoes -- I never purchase a piece from fast fashion .
Darren Trentacosta it’s truly an art form! Craftsmanship is the original expression of human intellegiance, imagination, and passion. The coming into the realization of the self. The self that is mortal, here now but gone tomorrow, as if he was never here at all. Which brings the burning desire to create a self that will remain forever. I also find it quiet funny how society has developed from being a client, to a customer, to a consumer. And the harsh consequence for demanding cheap and quick merchandise, which can only come from human slavery and suffering, and the consumer only being left with a product that is essentially garbage. Yet they believe they ‘got a good deal’... instant gratification...
Nothing wrong with made in china thanks. It’s the employers that controls the quality, not the worker themselves. Some of the best craftsmanship comes from china
@@jase87 True. You get what you pay for. Superb craftsmanship is not cheap - it involves years of training underwent by the top designers/artistes, plus hundreds of hours spent (from initial design concept to sourcing material to the finished product) for each creation.
AMAZING , i love that iconic brands are taking time to make this "Savoir Fare" videos to share with the world how beautiful things are done BRAVO Chanel !
Joaillier ! Superbe !!!
OMG I love this video!!! What is the name of the music that played in the background? It sounds so beautiful!!!!! This necklace is a work of art!!!!!!!
and here i am, with 40 bucks in my pocket, watchin this and dreaming. its hard to believe theres a horror story about where and how the dimonds come from behid this.
There exists a horror story behind almost all the items we use and consume in the modern world. Phones and TVs are possible because of the equivalent of Chinese slavery. Anything with plastic required oil that hurt people and the environment. I do not think it is wrong to use these things but it is important to realize what the cost of luxury is. We are still conquerors supported by a second class people but instead of traditional slaves now they are chinese who do not even live as well as some slaves. Everything has a cost is what I am trying to say. We cannot ignore the suffering that things like our cell phone cause and pretend to live a fully moral life from something like going vegan.
Chanel lo constituyen todo el equipo q tienen. Un personal realmente creativo .... Se nota el esmero. La marca sobrevive gracias a la participación de todos los que están detrás de las pasarelas y los escaparates, resulta inspirador. ❤
This necklace probably costs as much as my house.... and I don't live in a dumbster ! I bet the person who bought this necklace probably doesn't appreciate it as much as I would.
I would buy that neckpiece in a heartbeat. Too bad my heart stopped because the beauty of the jewellery piece. True magnificence and immaculate precision 😱😍❤👌
