Really nice tutorial. I thought there were way more LEDs behind there. I wanted to try this a while back but since I don't have much experience with soldering I stayed away. It doesn't look that difficult so I think I'll give it a shot. What about using painters tape to mark needle location then just lining it back up on reinstall?

Too many words. LEDs are diodes, that means they work in only one direction. If it doesn't light up, flip it, if that doesn't work, try another LED. The triangle is a directional indicator to help install in the correct orientation. Done. heat up leg of LED, apply solder to the leg to tin. Repeat with the other side. Hold component to the PCB, heat up leg, add more solder if needed, leave iron in place, remove solder, remove iron. Inspect quality. Repeat for the remaining.

I have bought the wrong led's for my 09 tc and trying to do blue but everything I'm looking for says the t10 but with taking everything apart I have found that it's wrong. And the owners manual does not tell me what bulbs to look for and neither does any other website I go to. So since you have a tc where did you do your research for the right bulbs to use?

I just had a question, in a different video the person changing the leds mentioned that if you wanted to go blue you have to change your resistor. in your video I don't recall you mentioning anything like that. did you replace anything else besides the leds

I was so psyched to see this how to video. I want my cluster lights blue like yours But that is way too difficult for me to attempt. I would probably snap all the plastic pieces and mess up my whole cluster. Lol. I guess ill have to deal with the ugly orange lightrs.
