How CHEATERS Are Destroying Brawl Stars 

The blacklist duration was decreased due to trophy pushers clearing matchmaking easily and getting matched against opponents with much lower trophy counts. For this reason, the blacklist can't be increased again, but I agree that player names shouldn't be visible above 750 trophies. And also I hope that supercell can find a way to reduce teaming, because solo showdown is unplayable right now.

At this point, I don't even think showdown should be a game mode anymore.

I agree I was playing at 800+ trophies and almost all the players at that time were just targeting me I’m not sure if they were the same group but if supercell is not fixing this , I’m quitting the game

The fix is a lot simpler than people think. Supercell just needs to start banning people and make the bannings harsh. At least a month of ban to start. Second offense is a 3 month ban. Third offense is for life. Once people start realizing that there will be harsh consequences they will stop pretty quickly.

Fun fact: Supercell used to make that above 650+ trophies, every brawler was named ?. They later removed it for no reason and it wasn't even in the patch notes. Edit: My bad, it was actually in the patch notes. Even if they revert to 12 hours blacklisting and rename the players, the new cosmetics and battle cards makes it easier to identify one and another. They made it so that after 30 minutes you can face same opponents just to make matchmaking faster, but this idea backfired horribly.

They should add a report system like in Mobile Legends : Bang Bang. So basically you can report players for doing specific things like feeding very hard or win trading. Well this partially exist in Power League, but the system ain't punishing enough. It can lead to low priority matchmaking or to ban in matchmaking, or even worse, ban in game

Bro his exact thing happened to me while I was pushing ash mastery, and there was a group of 6 people using the wifi pin, and they all started shooting me, but they didn't kill me. I killed 3 of them, and then I teamed wit a random guy, and got first place

This is so toxic! I can't believe real people do this to others who have worked ages to get their brawlers up in trophies. I honestly feel sorry for anyone this has happened to because this is a genuine excuse to smash your phone it's like organised teaming! It's just pathetic!

Supercell better bans those wintraders

Supercell could easily remove teaming (just punish players who stay close for too long) but they wont because people will bring their friends for pushing.

i wanted to push a rank 30 in showdown like a meg or shelly but now i hear so much about wintrading that i think that it is a time waste to push 900+ with randoms or in showdown

this is why as a 50k+ player i dont push solos and only focus on 3v3s

Showdown plus would've been the goat for win traders, almost doubling the output for the player. I can see why it was removed, even though it did mostly counter teaming and actually helped normal players.

What makes me really upset is that Frank himself has stated on Twitter that he doesn't see any real reason to take reasonable action against teaming. He says the implications of punishments would be way too complicated and the intent of teaming can't be proven in a lot of cases... That's ridiculous IMO.

I thought you were going to talk about actual cheats like being able to see everyone even in a bush or something like that

By this point I'm actually having more fun playing on my lower trophy alt accounts because of how extreme this is on my high trophy main account. I won't blame Supercell here, they are some of the best game developers imaginable. However I do hope that they will try to do something against this.

This needs to be fixed quickly or playing as a solo player in showdown and team modes would be impossible. Also they should make the cooldown 12 hours cuz if they make it 24 hours people wpuld clear matchmaking and get easy ranks. Also they can make teaming bannable office and make names unvisible. Rip solo players

Honestly good for them, this won't make them any better at the game and showdown has always been a bad gamemode to push without teaming, if you push solo showdown without teaming I give props to you

Wintrading was something that I experienced very often in private server like Retro Brawl or Magic Brawl, which was played mostly by Russians, I guess those people found out about wintrading from these and started doing it in normal brawl stars..

I think if you’re caught cheating you go on trial and face public execution, that might slow cheating down

I have an idea Its from a game I think its from COD or Fortnite I just saw How about if u dont attack an enemy ur health decreases slowly but increases damage The damage will stop if u hit an enemy but after sometime it will start again but seperate it with one gamemode which can team so tanks dont go downhill/useless

I'm new to pushing high trophies, I only had Shelly at rank 25 at the highest. I decided to get her to rank 30, and it was quite fun. I've even gotten on Brawl TV for the first time which was a fun game. But like 3 times that night I would get into a Solo Showdown game where everyone, or most people are nanis. I would always lose those games and I would check the battle log and everyone who wasn't using nani got killed. I assume these were people cheating, since it was the same people.

I feel like one thing they did is adding cordelius, if used right he can absolutely destroy teamers one by one, but yeah if ur pushing anyone but him or ur just not good w him then this is a major issue

They must fix the teaming in solo showdown... The +2 per kill helped a bit also astroids that coming on groups helping

Yeah i'm a duo main and i have 12k wins in the mode, last week i was trying to push Belle to 1050-1100 but i kept on facing win traders, so yeah i think they should reverse the name visibility and the mm clear.

The fun part bout teamers and win traders is winning a 1v4 Or even sometimes a 1v9

i wish that there is like moderators watching games to catch people cause they 100% will find ways and even hacks to get around everything that gets in their way

Supercell doesn't care, they will release just another overpriced skin and a broken chromatic brawler and call it a day

I don't think this will destroy the game since teaming already existed and this just an improved version of it but it might spread to other game modes which is pretty concerning.

I really hate that this is a problem inside the community, but at least Supercell gave us something to hope for, that report button from power league is the first step they took into adding some ban system into the game. It's been there for a while, yeah, but because is something hard to deal with, i mean, by adding a ban system they would have to go through a lot of accounts that where cheating since a long time and are now being reported, meaning they would have a lot of work to do once it's implemented to handle the old and new accounts being reported. It's comprehensive that a system like this is taking them so long to figure out, specially since they're adding it so late. But at least i hope they get to make something functional to solve this problem. Though thinking a bit further, i recall someone from supercell (Probably Frank) saying that banning people would be some kind of last resort if they don't find a more friendly way of handly teaming and cheating

Btw, this showdown trend started and diffused like when the update of rank 35 was added. This thing needed to be resolved at the beginning

Thank you for making this, thanks a lot. I appreciate this video man. I was a professional player in the Apac server until I ended up seeing the truth with my own eyes. Masters were all win trades, not a single player earned it. I got into fights with so many of the players that all decided to throw matches when I'm with them. And hence I was forced to stay away from power league and it's been 8 months since I played brawl stars. No wonder why Apac regions are literal dogshit who never got above last rank in worlds 💀. (I managed legendary 3 without win trading but snipes got the best of me)

I think even making names is invisible they can talk in discord with voice chat they can say like "ay bro are you the (brawler) with that (skin)?"

i literally pushed my edgar rank 25, it felt soo insanely great, it was a pain to do, but when it happened, it was a really big achievement, my edgar currently is 720-30 trophies, i think this season ill try getting him to 800 trophies, maybe even 900, we will see

The things I hate about pushing trophies 1: in 3v3 modes is getting terrible/moody (throw the match as soon as we start losing) randoms since none of my friends play brawl stars 2: in showdown is getting teamed up on and they don’t even have to be wintraders to be equally as annoying 3: in duels it is just so inconvenient gaining such little trophies on each brawler and when you lose it sets you back like 20 minutes of progress (still duels was the best for pushing trophies since it was the fairest mode)

Wintrading's always been a thing, some of those players are actual friends of mine, 3v3s, solos and duos have always been like that, snipes, wintrading are common things among high trophy pushing, pl is full of it too, or was, I quit brawl stars a year ago, they added the report system so I dunno if anything changed since then, it was mostly squads tho... Common thing to get sniped in every single game once ya reach r34 or legendary 3

if its the only way to win sometimes u gotta win trade last year during the janet meta i pushed 1850 janet and helped my friended get wr bo all i see is win trading and while i hate it. untill brawl stars does something its just gonna be the meta u gotta do what u gotta do at this point in the game

just make showdown bleed mode permanently , so if they don't kill each other they die, no more spining

supercell is "trying" to fix teaming issues like these with their useless showdown modes like topdog that no teamers swap to. they claim to want to fix teaming, but if they really wanted to get rid of it, they would add actual punishments instead of wasting time.

This is why i never play showdown anymore, only 3v3 modes since its always gonna be fair at that point

dam, playing with shelly at 1k on almost all showdown maps i really see a lot of these groups, they are not very skilled for sure and dont expect to die from a clay pigeon.

Wow didn't know about this i don't have this before because me and my big brother playing with high players so they just team alot then just betray eachother luck don't have ths before so i keep a eye on the players that i keep having battles with every game
