I don't understand how the conversation devolves into you guys making fun of Chelsea's squad size again?? Look at the injury issues forming around the league, and compared to last season when Chelsea had 11 injured players, instead we have 0. They perform against every opposition you put them against with a squad of 24 super talented players who are all making arguments to be in the first team. This is obviously extremely successful, and teams around the league will be looking to replicate this strategy.
It will be fun to see the rivals make a squad as competitive as this and with as much depth and such young in 1.5b pounds with 191 years of contracts left across the squad. Their minds cannot fathom that Chelsea have done 5 years worth of work in 2 years and we will be ready to challenge for titles from the 4th year onwards.
Couldn’t have said it better. Every team will build their squad like we are in the years to come. Long contracts, low weekly wage bill, & young talent. Two years we will contend for a title mark my words.
Chelsea has always been ahead of the curve. It is not easy to be successful 'only' by throwing money. You need Quality and a plan. Someone at United would understand. But someone at United could not understand and he dubbed us Billion Pound Bottle Jobs without ever giving a long term thought. The Bottle Jobs will rule and dominate the league in the near future and you would be eating these sobriquets yourself
Footballers and their agents always squeeze clubs and that has brought about the multiple tournaments they’re complaining about currently. Clubs are allowed to do whatever they want to stay afloat, so long as it’s legal. If footballers and their agents don’t not see clubs as entities owned by human beings when negotiating for their deals , why then should club owners and administrators worry about the humanity of footballers.
The way we handle Sterling is great get him out of our club, Benjamin just hasn't been good for two years now so we brought in people better on less and can do more.
I agree with it being a really nasty way of handling Sterling, Chilwell, Conor Gallagher but you fools slurped Arteta for the way he treated Aubameyang, Lacazette, Nicholas Pepe etc. But hate does blind so it makes sense the difference in opinion on a matter that is the same
