There are 34 million more male in china than women which creates lots of problems. Do you know why dangal is so popular in china? Because just like how females are treated less economically viable for families in India is the same as china. Educated People of China hated this discrimination. Because of that female infanticide increases by lot in china. Also population decreasing is not a good thing like Japan. When you have more older people (who are not in the working class) in your country more than younger people. It creates financial pressure in both the country's economy and younger people. That's why the UN determines 2.1 children per women to be the standard one. Do you know which country achieves this balance? INDIA. Population gets balanced on its own as health system and income improve for normal people because they decided to have two kids on their own because it is more manageable in normal working class.

One child policy was a catastrophe, SEZ were a good strategy, And the cultural revolution and thousand flowers bloom was also a failed strategy as it killed more chinese than it benefitted.
