China's R&D spending is 3X that of the US in term of PPP-adjusted dollar and have been for a decade but you'll never hear American officials admit the US is falling behind. Every Chinese breakthrough is always stolen from the US even when the US have nothing equivalent. J-20 have higher speed, bigger payload, and way more range than F-22 and F-35 and is also the first 5th generation jet with 2 seats for networked drone warfare. But its all copied from F-22 and F-35 even though it'll be America's 6th generation NGAD jet that will have feature parity with J-20

Today, Native American population is 15 million, while the European population, in the Continents of America + Europe, is a staggering TWO BILLION! A shocking sad truth. 😔 In my humble opinion, it's about time to decolonize the Colonized lands, and return it to rightful owners Native American people. As a foreigner, In the late 80's and early 90's I got my PhD in an American university. It was a great experience. I became very fond of the American society and its people. However, I was amazed of the huge number of Chinese students that were getting their PhDs in STEM areas. Back then China was very backwards technologically, and in China communism was the rule, as still is. Furthermore, big US companies were closing factories and takig production to China. It was obvious that so much generosity was not going to pay Americans as they expected. Then, in the early 2000s, as China kept growing economically and military, it was obvious it would soon become a serious threat to the US, and all of us in the west. Back then I thought "the West will have to do something to stop this". But that is where we are now. And now, I am wondering if there is any way out of this for the west, and can´t find an answer.

A significant number of graduate students at top universities in the U.S. like MIT and Stanford are Chinese nationals. The U.S. should place limits on how many foreign born students from 'high risk' countries like China are accepted. Furthermore foreign born nationals, regardless of naturalization, should be restricted from working at sensitive companies like semiconductor, AI, or weapons research. The majority of these Chinese nationals are not spies, but the stakes are too high. They're free to work on tech in non-sensitive industries like gaming, etc.
