Man this guy unsurprisingly is a master of conversation. Not only does he answer every question Lex throws(which doesn't happen as much as you would think) he also articulated every point to the point of being able to visualize it in the mind. One of my favorite interviews ever.

Retired CIA agents have in their minds a set of what they are and aren't able to talk about. Rogan is frankly not mentally at the same level, he's been taken in by so many con artists(Bilzerian) and pseudo cult leaders(Peterson) over the years, I doubt Rogan is able to keep the distance to be able to ask questions. I mean. Lex has some weirdos(Peterson) on too, but he's more able to hear them talk and is clearly asking questions, not just giving them an endless open avenue to spout their nonsense. That's probably the difference between an interviewer and a guy who thinks he's an interviewer, but is really just being used.

Hence the reason why children from broken homes wander around seeking a tribe to connect to. We all long to be part of a family (gang, club, team). It’s not a very difficult skill to narcissistic/ sociopathic individuals. They’re constantly doing this anyway. I would just assume most the agents are just naturally leaning towards this temperament so it wouldn’t be very hard to teach at all. Once they have an objective then they can convince themselves and their target that it’s real and get whatever outcome they desire.
@biohazard8295
@biohazard8295 Год назад
To some degree yes, but if i was the CIA i wouldn't trust a person too narcisistic or sociopathic. Don't forget that narcisism goes on a spectrum and everybody has this trait, many don't develop it enough or weren't forced to adopt it as a defence mechanism against people. Bustamante said (if it's true) that the CIA specifically employs people with paranoid thinking, people who are aware of their surroundings etc and to a degree are overthinkers. A complete narcisist may not be too aware and be too confident. Don't get me wrong, many people working for CIA or high level police jobs are certainly sociopaths or narcisists, but personally i don't think they have the ideal profile for these jobs. Also narcisists and sociopaths contrary to the general belief can become very fragile if pressured in a certain way, the CIA can't risk investing tons of money into a person if they are not almost 100% sure it has a balanced personality.

Man, I am so glad this dude criticized micro-expressions. There are so many variables when it comes to interpreting micro-expressions and TV and movies have really misled people about how accurate they are. They are definitely useful as a tool but in a high-stress situation, micro-expressions and body language can occur for different reasons. And even if a lie is detected, it may not be an important lie. My uncle worked in law enforcement for a while and then went on to become a grief counselor for his dept and he said that it was really confusing at times because most detectives are so experienced in interrogations that they will alter their behavior and physical ticks. Sometimes it was on purpose but a lot of times it was almost involuntary and they would almost instinctively avoid doing things that can indicate deception. And it wasn't usually for important things. Usually just embarrassing things or personal information that they'd rather not share. People tell unnecessary lies all the time...

The best masters of disguise are vampires. The age gap between their various alter egos helps. Otto von Bismarck once survived an assassination attempt of 5 gunshots at point blank range. He also immediately summoned the strength to subdue the gunman til the police arrived. Adolf Hitler claimed to have a serum which could extend someone's lifespan to several millennia. He did. He was previously known as Otto von Bismarck. Hitler often subtly highlighted and contoured his nose to help obscure the resemblance. However look at a photo of him in stark lighting which drowns out these subtleties. Compare his nose to a photo of Bismarck on his "death bed" where the profile of his nose is clear. They had the same nose. He's still alive too. He's a singer/songwriter/Goth band leader. He's superb. He's a scary guy but I'm a masochist, so I just wanna jump into his lap like a kitty cat and cuddle ALL up to him. Everyone does. He was voted Class President in high school.

It's the first time people on screen are able to talk at length in extreme detail without commercial breaks. Going off on non-premeditated tangents to explore and sharing knowledge without restraint is so valuable. Politicians should be subject to the same conditions to filter out their true beliefs and intentions.

When he says in people's souls to be with other people, I can state that's not me, the best part of my life, was when I was deemed essential and I was able to do my job, driving. I found the most satisfying peace, when no one was around because they were all locked down in their homes. Then they let you back out and my world changed because I had to have you around again. The whole world is too full of themselves and we're just fed BS Some must think they're really important or their shit doesn't stink, I don't I'm only a man. At night when I'm alone, I know I'm fine, because no one wants anything and no one is demanding anything from me. I feel peace by myself.

Yet here you are, feeling the need to communicate this with hypothetical people lol. I feel like if your statement were true, the desire to tell these thoughts to someone, anyone, wouldn't exist in the first place. If you've never experienced any relationship where you didn't feel like the other person was demanding something from you, then I'm sorry you've had a rough past, but the feelings you're describing don't seem to indicate a lack of desire for social connection, they indicate a defensiveness that was formed as a protective response to pain. Not everyone is a piece of shit that wants to hurt you.

99.9999% of CIA field officers are not chosen!the main prerequisite is Earn a bachelor's degree. ... Consider earning a master's degree. ... Become fluent in one or two foreign languages. ... Gain relevant experience. ... Complete the required testing and medical examinations. ... Finish an internal training program.GPA 3.7 the qualifications, you probably realize it's pretty tough to get into the CIA, especially if you want to be one of the 10% of CIA officers who are field operatives. Your chances will be much better if you've first been honest with yourself about who you are and what you're capable of. Things that qualify you for a CIA career, they are some of the most helpful: Technology. ... Business. ... Political science and other social sciences. ... International studies. ... International relations. ... Foreign language or foreign studies. ... Criminal justice. ... Physical sciences.so being chosen is very very rare!!!

Also, the day Mike Baker came on Rogan, something was up. These tenuous but also real links to intelligence, are not there by accident. If you think agencies like CIA, or NSA suffer fools in ANY way you’re mistaken. They look upon a conjunction of information, like these very popular podcasts, as a well to be tapped, quietly, and efficiently. Sometimes the quietest way to tap a keg is while everyone is talking. Of course there’s nothing anyone can do about it. It’s just interesting to understand this while “consuming” the content is all.

@@yourdadsotherfamily3530 lol. I got tense a couple times. Once a deputy from a county I used to be a patrol officer in saw me. I hadn't seen him in 2 years and he lived about 200 miles from where I was working. As soon as our eyes made contact his face lit up and here he came. I was standing with three guys that I had been working for about 2 months. We were at a fair type event. My partner and I had a code phrase for this type of situation. My partner walked past him and " accidentally " bumped into him. As he was apologizing for bumping into him he whispered to him to stay away. The deputy finally caught on. He knew I had went to another agency but had no idea I was undercover so he didn't really know any better. I saw him a couple of years later at the court house and he apologized for about 30 mins.

There is no better place for me than completely alone, it's where I am my happiest self. I dont mind having to be near other people and talk to them, but I never ever seek it out or wish for it. After a long day of work, nothing is better than coming home and being all by myself.
