He should have just stayed done! He thinks he is way more important than the business he professes to love. As an AEW guy I can honestly say he’s not helping Wrestling! And not helping AEW. His comeback had EVERYONE cheering now about 30% or less cheer and the boo’s are overwhelming. Tony Khan made the mistake of thinking Punk was about something other than Punk.
I fully believe Punk is just the first dude who didnt take bullshit from the Elite and their ridiculous position of power and everything that happened after that stemmed from it
Yes that’s why Cody left. AEW didn’t know how make a good show until cm punk got there. It was getting good and the elite got mad and jealous because punk got ratings besides Jericho.
“Ruined his career” Bruv, I’m an AEW mark, but my man’s just gone back to WWE, signed a multi year deal and put water under the bridge with Hunter… if anything, the bust up with AEW was finally the thing that made WWE and Punk put water under the bridge and do business. The bust up with AEW will end up making this man’s career, and this is from a fan who prefers AEW to WWE.
@connorledwith98 I agree with you, I would say they’ve relaunched he career. I think Punk has this thing of taking no crap, however this works in some but not others. I think with AEW it humbled him and make him think tactically on the battle he chooses.
how sure are you that he pulled that shit? besides wwe has ppl who are pro's at leaving shit behind them. the warrior, brett hart, double j, and now punk. the day they lost punk they lost everything cant believe they let a draw like that go.@@RichardYu-rj3yl
✋🏽 right here. Punk 2.0 is gonna be sooooo entertaining. Tonight's Smackdown was just the beginning: "it's 2023, who goes running around, backstage just punching people".... Them are fighting words! Tony Khan - hope you're watching...while regretting! 😒
@@NonProphet420tf do liberals have to do with anything were talking about ? Are you one of those idiots who interjects their political beliefs into a completely irrelevant topic ?
Um, yeah. I think that’s what punk was saying would happen if he said it to his face. Did you think he meant say it to my face and we’ll talk things out?
@@luisjavierrubio5962 How? Well he doesn't need to do something really stupid such as go out in the ring, cut a unscripted shoot promo like he did with Hangman Page, even ranting at the All Out Media Scrum, burying the company. And he doesn't need to do the talking with his fist, which he did twice so far. He's like a sensitive prick. If you talk shit about him, he'll take it personally. If Punk has a problem with the Elite, Hangman, Perry, and Ryan Nemeth, he needs to sit in the room with them, including TK there, and hash things out. AEW does had a lack of communication.
@@nwo2coolstfu lmao disingenuous little weasel. Punk did nothing it defend himself. Page started this being a little b itch and going off script. The elite are the problem. Sorry baby
In short, "YEAH". You don't go around putting your hands on people. Nobody is exempt from that...well some are with deep pockets but that's another topic. I just find it funny these incidents occur because the master of the "pipe bomb" can't take it when someone chirps at him.
I was the biggest Punk fan there was, but nobody can deny how calculated his moves and intentions have become. In the middle of serving his first suspension, for him to go to RAW and make amends with HHH and other talents was ONLY him protecting his paydays. He wanted leverage and a backup plan since his ego and attitude got him suspended. When he returned he talked about working with the “young talent”, but has carried himself as cocky and condescending as possible. He’s become the spoiled, entitled, politicking entertainer he’s always railed against. When he returned it was about how much he loved the wrestling business and since he’s buried and rundown talents, established and originals, that’s created nothing but drama and division. As is, it’s fair to say Punk has become a bigger hinderance to the business than advocate. He’s everything that he claims he despises.
How could you guys not see the BS when he went to UFC? All the gripes he had about old part timers taking up valuable time (at a PPV) from the people who were there busting their asses for the whole year, guess what he did? Exactly that! Absolute hypocrite.
@@Gravesend83 when you like someone you try to see their actions in a positive light. At the time Punk walked away from millions of dollars from WWE, for very legitimate reasons (medical malpractice), and was deciding to take on a dangerous dream. There was enough merit there to be a respectable pursuit. However, in hindsight and in light of his more recent transparent behaviors, it strips away the benefit of doubt. You’re NOT wrong, one bit, about your take. Only difference between seeing it now vs then was he lost that extra consideration that fandom buys you. Again, not saying it was justified, because your point is fair and reasonable.
Literally not true how bout u stop going off of narratives and rlly pay attention Paige literally tried to bury punk and elite was literally talking shit behind his back and all he did was give veterans advice to perry who literally was becoming disrespectful
Even in wwe when he wanted to leave he had a concussion in the rumble so wwe best plan was to put him thought a table makes no sense but hey everything is pucks fault right
@@usadarren4you must be some kind of a dumbass because I'm pretty sure that the guy didn't say that punk was the cause of all the drama in the wrestling world he just said that he brings the drama wherever he goes
The common denominator in those altercations is who? Does he have history of his mouth getting him in trouble? Does he also have a jaded view of the business and keeping thi gs professional? Has he always had a chip on his shoulder concerning his exit from WWE? Would his emotional and mental jadedness cause him to have emotional and mental issues? Where there's smoke there's fire
Sting Danielson Jericho Mox are a few more huge names to be fair. I think Punk and the bucks etc didn't get along instead of using this as storyline they just had real beef and never mentioned it which made the situation worse. Then the jungle boy thing made no sense. Tk should of put his foot down along time ago instead of being friends he's the boss but doesn't got the balls
@jaredaustin1172 nah, punks fandom droped hard adter he got fired from wwe. He cried a lot and people saw who he really was and got turned off. Then the ufc humbled him and he dissappeared. Then he cones back to an audience with open arms, and completely disrespects the entire company and by proxy, the fans.
Mans got a fragile ego. I speak my mind to people but am I gonna walk up to them and start putting them in chokeholds or goin nuclear and causing collateral damage to those around me? Nah chief. Mans got an anger problem and needs to go
Don't forget Jungle Boy became a heal not long before him and CM Punk got into a fight! They both had great matches at that paper view! I like them both so I hate that they got into it. What is it about anyway? It seemed like it was about Jungle Boy wanted to use a real glass windshield in the car that he was going to use as part of his match. CM Punk didn't think that anyone should use real glass in a stunt like that.
@@channeled.Doubt you will get a response. Punk is a bigger draw than all of the "elite" combined. At least he is back where he belongs, on the biggest stage possible.
Yea and they would deserve it, what kinda dumbass takes up for people like Jack perry and the elite, punk was watching out for the moron and he turned it in2 a big deal, yet again though punk is blamed by these outlaw mud show idiots
Finally someone said it too!! It was 100% a set up by the Elite and Junk took the bait. Wouldn’t doubt it if Khan also had a very small role in it as well
If you seriously think punk is heading back to wwe then I don’t know what to tell ya man 😂 like if you think punk has issues in aew and with the people in charge then oh boy you have no idea what he’s pull in wwe
wwe wouldn't hire someone as volatile like him. wwe wants people that do as there told. that's not punk. he does what he wants and that is why he is an unemployed wrestler who failed at real fighting.
The only person to blame here is punk himself. I love him but he fails at properly handling his problems. This was bound to happen at somepoint and tbh im surprised it wasn't sooner
Imagine having such a fragile ego that you let Jungle Boy, of all people work yourself into a tizzy and get yourself fired. good riddance. you get rid of cancers before they spread like wildfire. the day you let the talent dictate the show your finished. ask the people who ran wcw.
I wasn't there for either incident so as they say there's three sides to every story. He is the common denominator in both equations. I'm sure both sides are to blame. Should he have been fired? I don't think it should have come to that, yet. Since he has been fired I figure that they need to move forward. I hope they don't forget Ricky Starks.

@@milk_bath imagine quoting Jon Moxly 😂. Facts: In every single instance punk was antagonized first. Punk did not start rumors backstage about anyone else’s personal life or motivations, the EVP’s did Punk did not start going into business for himself on the mic instead of talking man to man, hangman did Punk literally had no problems with anybody, they had problems with him because Tony wanted him because he would draw money and he did. They got mad because Tony is their friend first and boss second Punk tried ignoring them and waiting for Tony to handle them. Tony did nothing. So punk voiced his frustrations Punk did not barge into anyone else’s locker room. The bucks and omega barged in his looking for a fight. A moment of silence for the Punk sycophants and zealots as their cult crumbles. I have zero empathy for these people because they knew who they were hitching their wagon to. The next few years are going to be brutal for these people as they will once again be the laughing stock of the entire fandom.
it's called reading from others who actually did witness it. you don't attempt to attack your boss. he was fired and deserved it. the dicks a cancer and doesn't play well with others.
You’re getting paid $3 million dollars a year to work once a week . All Punk needed to do was not physically assault co-workers . 🤦 Be the BIGGER MAN. Finish the contract and then write a book like Bret Harts when you’re contract expires.
I agree. AEW is too small of a company to matter in the career of CM Punk. Now Punk will return on RAW and begin his real comeback to the sport of Pro Wrestling.
Wasnt it known that Perry wasnt a CM punk fan? Maybe an instigation from Perry doesnt help sometimes people know how to press buttons i give Punk the benefit of the doubt ....plus im neither a fan of Hangman and the elite ! Also whats the real reason why Cody left ? I think the Elite has something to do with it as well toxic individuals dont help

Punk might have handled things poorly but it seems to me that he also defended himself from a lot of bs. Perry was the one who started this, not punk. It would even appear that Perry esculated it. Just like the Elite started this last year. Im not saying Punk is innocent and blameless, but he's not the only bad guy here.
Punk didn't want him using glass in his segments and that got Perry pissed, PUNK PROBABLY DIDN'T WANT HIM TO HURT HIMSELF, and this is the thanks Punk gets for trying to keep someone from hurting themselves.
