I use E600 to bond glass pieces together and it does turns yellow after time like the lady in the comment says. I would use with caution unless on a beige, gold, brown orange, red black fabric maybe 🤷🏽♀️
I’m glad I saw this...pls can u do a tutorial on how to sew a luxury fabric...u mentioned u use under lining then manipulate the fabric...u use a mannequin/dress form for this right ? A tutorial would be nice pls
Hey Faith! Yes u got it right, I wear or pin the underlying on my dress form and place my luxury fabric over it and start manipulating the fabric to fit. However, I’ll look into making a tutorial soon🤔
@@lorrainemadison8569 I’m glad I could help❤️ Please keep me updated when you try out this tutorial with any other glue brand aside from the one I used.
Hello…thank you for your beautiful comment. I put the store on my description box of this video…Incan also help you source for it if you’re unable to locate the store.
@@tipstrickswithpraiz Hello, how much is 3 yards of that gorgeous fabric? I do bridal gift bags and that fabric is something I never saw in UK. I hope you can source for me. I saw the website but I can't find the fabric. It is Monday, it feels Sunday lol.
@@TENBASSIST 😀 this is about 2years ago, we might not be able to source for the exact fabric design but there are loads of other similar designs you could chose from. These are luxury fabrics & they quite pricey. So this is to prepare you ahead. You could send me a mail praizfred@gmail.com so we could talk on this further.
You can try candle wax glue…use sparingly. There are other fabric friendly gums you can use. There’s no other way you can attach designs that are ripped off without gumming or tacking as the case may be.
@@KIZAJ Yay!!! Let’s take this to WhatsApp😁 Please have your WhatsApp number mailed to me at praizfred@gmail.com I’ll be happy to hear from you. Still new in this space, need a friend who has been doing this long b4 I came😊
No it doesn’t. That’s why you don’t overwhelm the fabric with gum…use lightly. Use a good transparent gum as well. I’ve been applying this method for the longest time.
@@tipstrickswithpraiz you’re welcome. I’m surprised to see someone else doing this and posting. I use this method on ALL appliqué and beading before cutting. I’ve been doing this for over 5 years now. It has saved me on the stresses of cutting beaded fabric ❤️
Have you observed how many inch jumps up after fixing the elastic? That will be a good way to know how many inch to add next time. You could use 5 inches extra though…that always works
I have a sweater with beading, and some of the beads near the neckline came off. They probably weren’t properly secured. I wonder if I could put a drop of glue on the threads of each one to keep this from happening, again?
@@queenwere1 I’m only teaching how to secure your beads with gum on your luxury beaded fabrics before you sew so not to lose your beads. The video is not about how to cut or sew the fabric.
There’s this glue that called fabric glue… or you can use Uhu as well, so as you’ll be covering up with appliqués and accessories. Tacking with thread is another good option.
Thanks for sharing this. That using price to chase customers away part😄😄😄, now I know why I kept getting ridiculous prices when I wanted to make my reception dress. What's your Instagram handle please? I run a craft materials store, and I will love to share this video with my tailor followers
I know right!😃 We’ve all chased customers with prices at some point until we started seeing customers that are willing to pay anything to sew this type of fabrics😀 My Instagram handle is @fashion5_11 instagram.com/fashion5_11?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
