Laurent de backer Im glad you are well. I also had leukaemia in 2013. Had treatment wvery day for the whole yr. it's a year I want to forget. Im glad im alive and I can see my little ones grow up. Keep healthy buddy
Hakuna Matata Glad you are okay man! I needed a stemcel-transplantation, but my body rejected it. So now i am in a wheelchair for the rest of my life (since my 26). I am 30 now. But i am happy that i am still here. I have another look on life. I really hope nobody need to go thru such a thing like i have now. Because it's really painful in the end. But i always try to stay positive :-)
Laurent de backer I dont have words to say how bad I feel for what you are experiencing but I can tell you that being alive is a huge blessing. Enjoy every minute. Life is beautiful
Ahly J you must not know , this man back in his comic view days he made fun of people with cancer . This is the world coming back around , how surreal is that ?
@Jacky Phantom So do you find racially ambiguous brown skin filipinas with jet black hair more sexually appealing? Get real. Majority of brown southeast men wants white northeast asian women, and orientals are viewed as high class people in southeast asia.
Same with me. I am a Korean man born in the Soviet Union who highly hates American culture, and many of these Asian Americans look nothing like me. In fact, I look like Kim Jong Il when he was young (who is from North Korea). If you don't know Kim Jong Il, he is Kim Jong Un's father, and plus, fun fact: My dad (80 years old) resembles Kim Jong Il in part because he is very short (only 164 cm today) and plus his appearance really compares to the dictator vs me being 170 centimetres. Plus, in my mother's side (she is a Koryo Saram born to space engineers from North Korea in Kazakhstan), I also have an older cousin (half Koryo-half Vietnamese through a South Vietnamese father), she is now 37, and she had breast cancer at 32 in 2015, and she is now cancer free.
the most amazing love story:) the cutest and greatest husband everr he even brought Vietnamese phrases into the movie to make her laugh:)) lol did not know that until now:) I think his Vietnamese is even better than Korean:))glad that she is cancer free :)
the only thing that got to me is the little weird random viet words he spits out during the movie, just to make his wife laugh while going thru chemo, that is fucking dope
This is what a loving, supportive, and healthy relationship is about. When your partner isn’t at their best, you got to be able to take control until they get back on track. Smart, humble and funny! It can’t get better than that. MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT. 🙏🏼
its so true that the ppl around are affected so much my dad had colon cancer and sadly passed away i was affected by this so much 2years later my girlfriend at the time had ovarian cancer it was just so hard taking care of her and seeing her sick and not being able to do anything but thank god she cancer free for about a year now we are friends now but im glad she is still alive
I am a breast cancer survivor and I understand all too well what the husbands go through. My husband was my rock he took me to every single chemo appointment. He took care of the house and my son and he was just all there yet nobody ever asked about him they only ever asked about me.
My husband of 32 years left me and I found breast cancer and a rare blood pressure condition this year. Lost right breast Sept. 1. Wish my partner had been a loving movie star! She has more luck than I.
Marina Kaye Same here Marina. Since they had to take the whole breast I had them take the other one too. Got my diagnosis the day my divorce was final. It was so scary for my child. Father left us then her mom might leave her too. Fun times. The good news is It's been 21 years since treatment finished. Most men bail.
annette fournier sorry to hear you guys have had Shitty men in your lives but this doesn't reflect all of us my dad is thinking quitting his job if the cancer gets bad enough just to look after my mom she got diagnosed with breast cancer November 2016 and if anything the cancer brought my family closer together.
Not A cookie Like seriously Prayers offered up for you and your family. It just wasn't in God's plan for me to have a supportive spouse. It all worked out. It wasn't easy but no where is it written that life is supposed to be. I'm happy for you and your family that your dad is there for all of you. It is a very difficult experience for everyone touched by this fate.
Stefan Larsen What the heck?! Don't be spreading lies like that. Are you Vietnamese? If not, how many Vietnamese people do you know? And if they all smoke weed then you're hanging out with some strange characters.
I forget what show it was, maybe it was The Hour with George Strombolopoulous--but he said that when he was filming The Hangover, he put a lot of his anger and hurt into playing Chow during this time.
caregiver and doctor? and an actor? h0llywood, give the man all the acting roles. dude deserve it, imo hes the best representation of Asian American in Hollywood.
My Sister in law has had Lupus, Lymphoma, Thyroid Cancer and Breast Cancer. Damn She's my hero. She's been through so much. The weird thing is that my husband (her brother) and their mother and uncle all have had lymphoma.
+Kevin Ruan Holy shit. I'm actually Vietnamese but I never noticed he said that in the movie. That was hilarious! Also at 2:53 he said: "Bắt đi" means "Take them".
nice vid. ,i love ken. his wife is vietnamese i guess referring to her name (im not viet im half thai-korean but i know so many viet ppl) and well also bcs they mentioned viet. here ...
what about women who are alone without any income? without any help? why not focus on these survivors who not only overcome the disease but the financial struggles and loneliness?
123JWJWJW Yes because the poor can only draw inspiration from the poor, right? She did not survive the most trying time of her life because her husband is a rich doctor and famous personality. She survived because she had a kind , loving person in her life who used his gift of comedy to keep her going. That's a lesson we can all benefit from - humor is the best medicine some times. Give it a try and lose the sour attitude.
