When I was a kid I used to remember the man baking the communion bread would give away the leftover bread with circular holes punctured on them, as they did not serve much purpose except to be thrown away when nobody would eat them. As my family was close to the local church, the baker would hand down some of the bread to the local children.
@@MementoMori1001So a human has the power to put God in a piece of bread wafer? That’s ridiculous. Transubstantiation is a heretical doctrine. In the Catechism CCC 1374-1378, it is believed that the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ is truly in Eucharist. Catholics take John 6:53 literally and that is why the Catholic Church came up with this doctrine that every Sunday u sacrifice Jesus again and take him down from Heaven and take his flesh and blood and eat and drink it. But there is no flesh or blood in Heaven. 1 Corinthians 15:50. Jesus was sacrificed once and for all. Jesus did not endorse cannibalism. Jesus’s blood was not shed yet at the last supper. Jesus turned water into wine John 2:9 not wine into his literal blood. Jesus said these things I say to you are Spirit and life. John 6:63. Hebrews 10:10,12,14. The priests keep doing sacrifices every week like but it is not sufficient nor necessary Hebrews 10:11. To think that for 1250 years only 12 people had life in them is preposterous. It is symbolic. Jesus said he is the bread of life. John 6:35. Jesus said he is the door. John 10:9. Jesus said man shall not live by bread alone. Matthew 4:4. Jesus said give us this day our daily bread. Matthew 6:11. Jesus is not saying we have to eat bread everyday or only bread. Jesus is saying it as Spiritual food, not physical food. Jesus gave it as physical food to the Israelites back then but not now. Now it is and it has always been Spiritual. Transubstantiation according to Catholicism is, “When the priest announces the words of consecration, he reaches up into the heavens, brings Christ down from His throne, and places Him upon Our altar to be offered up again as the Victim for the sins of man It is a power greater than that of saints and angels. The priest speaks and lo! Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God, bows his head in humble obedience to the priest's cornmand”-Priest John O’Brien. Catholicism is a religion and they preach religion, not relationship with Jesus. Read God’s word, not man’s word. God bless. Repent and trust in Jesus

@@BKT_04 They originally used leavened bread like all other Christians did, but now they use unleavened bread like the stuff in the video. There are some Latin or western rite Orthodox churches, so you could say some Latin rite churches still use the more traditional leavened bread.
@@bobbobb4804 bruh the original Eucharist was celebrated with unleavened bread. Latin Catholic and Armenian Catholics preserve that tradition but it is ok that some traditions use leavened bread
Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world. He died for the people that you hate, the people that are neglected daily, the people that are abusing drugs, he died for murderers, thieves, homosexuals, people that cheat on their partners, people that falsely accuse others, and more. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Anything else is a deception. With Jesus' sacrifice on the cross, He set an example for us. We now work out our salvation by changing the way that we live by imitating Christ. We are called to no longer live in sin, but fight against it for the rest of our lives with the help of Jesus
Is the bread contains with iron? Because i am a catholic, i always receive communion and it scares me because i have an alpha thalassemia minor the blood disorder that i've inherited from my dad.
Communion is not in the Bible, passover where you drink wine and unleavened bread. Once a year. Then the feast of unleavened bread follows its for 7 days.
