Highly inspirational! Glad I watched this; will bookmark it. The glueless wedged wood joint reminds me of what old woodworkers used to say when I was a kid. They didn't like nails and it was the era before PVA glue. Their work was finer than this, but I could never quite figure out how they did it and probably still don't have the necessary fine motor control. That wedging looks easy. I think the nearest thing they did was to use dowels which may perhaps be just as easy. Ha! The tool I clicked for is the one thing in the whole video I wouldn't have a use for. :) Phone stand out of zip ties! I just... the one thing I've always needed... and commercial products are never any good... Why didn't I think of this?
its so funny because I worked as a fishmonger for so long and you can literally just use a knife against the natural direction of the scales and it works just as well haha
Like I mean or what I'm trying to say or ask is... Do you post these when you do just to have me thinking to myself oh well I could have really use that or I wish I'd known that before I had or my would have been a lot better to do it like that or... well you get the idea... And even though your videos are often causing me to smack my head saying "DOUGH! I WISH I'D KNOWN THAT BEFORE" I still really appreciate them none the less!
13/26 OMG don't do that, please... You will destroy your cables like this. 15/26 Concept is good, but the paper clips are visibly not enough to hold. A better clamping mechanism would do the trick. A square would also make more sense rather than a ruler.

How could I not have thought of this before? It would have saved me pain and a visit to the doctor. How can you hold small and smaller things in your hand and not clamp them in a vice? Be more careful, safety first!
It has now occurred to me that you could round out the handle of the knife and put it directly in a drill. No need for all that extra fabrication. Just a spinning knife in a drill! How could I not think of this before? 😆😆
