The same impression of humility in the face of so much meticulousness and hard work invades me when I see the design and manufacture of any object requiring so much precision. I often forget that so much imperturbable patience is possible! It is also impressive to note that machines and robots have not yet completely replaced human craftsmanship. These Cuban chains therefore still retain a certain romanticism because of it. When we wear them around our neck, several hours of hard work and sweat gaze upon us! It is just as fascinating to see such beautiful, shiny objects come out of a manufacturing place so tired, worn and tested by the years.
