It should. The only problem would be if he stays disciplined and works on it and also not being so rushed into the ring. The same happened to Gabriel Flores.
For 8 rounds he stood in the pocket, beat the breaks off this guy, got cracked once (and didn’t even flinch) and ppl r saying he has bad defense, if you don’t run you’re gonna get hit
He ate it doesn't mean he will and can eat all of them he better change it up fast if he wants to move up boxing is a dirty sport next thing you know young bro will be just a memory a big "WHAT IF" but I like lil bro throws hard and is fearless
Elites only get caught with this kinda shot against at least B level fighters or other elites, Anthony Cuba sure is undefeated with 7 wins but he also has 2 draws and has never been a champion, he’s D level at best. Moton will learn so don’t worry
Nah starting that young makes you degrade faster as you get older and the lower the weight class the smaller amount of time you have to fight. His prime will be in like 5 years
@@ersula9769 You can't compare a flawed record to actual boxers fighting the best lol, Floyd has cherry picked every single old fighter lol, he has 7 creditable 'prime' wins, which some he arguably lost lol, "He's just a scared little man"
Yeah because he’s a prospect under TMT so he won’t face any real competition anytime soon 😂😂 Only Uber Drives & Subway Sandwich Makers for the time being… The Mayweather Effect 🔥🔥
@@user-if8qo5dj2iahhh the "mayweather effect". Didn't legendary boxers like pacquiao, leonard, duran, canelo, ali, tyson and etc.. fought bums in their earlier fights? The guy is still young and just got pro, give him a break.
Good analysis. Ironically, his opponent dropped his lead hand and got rocked with a counter. You can't beat guys like Shakur Stevenson, or even Keyshawn Davis, with those kinds of flaws. They will make you pay.
One question how many times you’ve seen curmel get touched. It’s boxing niggas just don’t go twelve rounds without getting touched it’s about how many times they get touched bro you ain’t box a day in ya life bruh
@@creamylul6390kinda interesting to know how close Inoue and him are division-wise. Hope it doesn’t happen cause Moton is only 17, he needs time to grow
He got caught with one decent punch and suddenly ppl wanna pretend he's so flawed. His defense is great at his level. Just like the video says, he has plenty of time to learn from it. Who else is fighting other good prospects rather than cab drivers at that level?
What are you talking about? The boy has hands & he has a certified chin & he's only 17yrs old he'll be just fine. This is boxing you're going to get hit at some point, If he would have been fighting conservatively you same haters would have been calling him boring. Stick to soccer you canelo fanboy! We got this, worry about your scary flat footed C-LEVEL trash can fighter's
@@johndamper2934 His defense is non existent. He just throws combos he’s practiced on a heavybag. He literally fights like he’s hitting a heavybag. I doubt he will fight anyone with decent footwork and a jab because he’s under mayweather but that would be very bad for him
@@owens7945actually if you watched the fight curmel does have good defense he just has holes that he needs to patch up he’s only 17 and this is his 3rd pro fight
He did get caught a bunch which is very 😟 concerning seeing that he was hit with that punch up until he won. He will definitely get better as he ages up in the sport. Very skilled fighter though and has many abilities. Very proud of the young fighter.
Sooo glad Curmel is starting to be posted throughout social media , I remember when I first saw a video of him 4 years ago I knew he was definitely going to be someone in boxing wrld no doubt , his defense will improve trust , keep going bro!
@@madeinheaven7286 Yeah, fr. Bro is 17 and he only made the mistake a couple times in the fight-which is actually ridiculously impressive. People don’t realize how long this shit takes to learn.
@@harryburganjr.969 Doesn’t take long to learn , it was a simple mistake, wouldn’t take it out of context, just pointing out the obvious as boxing critiques. As a boxing coach this regular conversation
exactly if u watched the fight, their was a point where moton stopped respecting cubas power and began to walk him down . moton literally started to walk towards cuba with his hands at his sides, face and body completely exposed .
Yea, I've been watching this kid for a minute now. He's good, but a bit overhyped. I hear people saying that he's going to be the future p4p and ppv star. I don't see that happening.
You’re right about what you said at the end. He’s only 18 with 3 pro fights so he has time to improve. And the dude he faced had 9 fights and was 7-0-2 so of course he’s gonna do things that Curmel hasn’t seen yet but once he improves he’ll become a champion
We will see these 2 fight again. They both did a great job. This fight was a banger fr. They was both working the body and using both hands effectively. Also, we don't see Multon get hit much but he def has a chin
Man it's boxing. He's gonna get hit. And he took that punch well. And he dominated that fight. That kid has a gift. And some powerful people on his side.
Curmel motons career will be something to remember we’re gonna see it start to finish at the age of 17 all eyes are on him any boxer who steps in the ring with him should thank him there gonna gain so much just from having there name beside his
Some of them boxing dudes got real power im them hands!! Jit didn’t even wind up. Looked like he just threw a light punch, but it got vicious the closer it got.
Being nervous almost made him lose this fight, people saying he need to tighten up his defense is wrong, his defense is very good, but the nervousness what made him fight like this
All i know is he got hit and at the sametime still managed to maintain the power in his upper cut and punch the spit out that boy mouth thats impressive
Even elites could get caught by feint once but it will never work twice. That's what separates them from the average who can't do a lot of adjustments in order to win the fight.
