Tim Cain did a video a month or 2 ago in which he talked about how devs should take risks, put surprise mechanics and designs that their fanbase aren't familiar with. I instantly thought about this particular mission from Phantom Liberty when he talked on that subject.
Love you CDPR!!!! 200+ hrs in your game and started Cyberpunk again yesterday for another walkthrough with all these crazy Blade Runner & Immersion Mods. It's such an incredible game. And glad you looked into Arkane's games for inspiration. Dishonored was awesome!
First time I let so mi go to the moon without me. second time I was SHOCKED AFTER KILLING HANSEN AND FINDING THIS HORROR SEGMENT. SO DAMN GOOD GUYS !!!
@@ajpewding4058Yeah, but the chimera was slowly, big, and very clumsy. The other one was fast, nimble, and controlled by an AI that neutralized a lot of V’s cybernetics
This is game is so great if its entirely a linear 50 hour campaign with optional side missions. But everything else with open world stuff is generic garbage.
I know the DLC is a year old, but you could have done with a spoiler warning. As such I have disliked the video for this very reason. Fortunately for me I had already completed this mission so it was not a spoiler for me. For anyone who had not faced this mission, you have just spoiled a huge part of the DLC for views! Even the video title could have been a bit more ambiguous to avoid spoiling it for those people who have yet to play this mission! (e.g. How Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty CHANGED THE GAME (For One Mission)(SPOILER WARNING ) MASSIVE FAIL on your part!
He was referring to the fact that it is a horror section, and horror isn’t generally described as "fun" since you feel scared. Engaging is definitely a more fitting term since you want the player to feel on edge instead of the typical gameplay experience of the rest of the game of being "fun"
WTH are you making games for if you are not concerned about people having fun? If thats not your concern, then get out of video games and into TV or Hollywood. Or hell, even books.
@@DaddydorfThirstmire Oh but I have, and those "major updates" were a joke. What was the last major update? Oh yeah, they finally finished the metro system years after launch and let people use the radio on foot... Wow, major indeed. And the other updates were just as bad, if not worse. The biggest turn around for the game was the anime. Everything else was just marketting.
