Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, and Mike Schur are all such powerhouses, but it's D'Arcy who is the real heart and soul of The Good Place. I firmly believe the success (or failure) of the show hinged on her performance from the beginning. She deserves ALLLLLL the awards!!

I mean it would be pretty easy to stop Janet from being a robot. Seeing as she’s not a robot. She’s an anthropomorphised vessel of knowledge built to make our lives *thumbs up* easier.

Eh, Janet being too robotic was the best IMO for the first season. It's the easiest way to develop a character like that: Just gradually make her more human each season.

You're missing the opening single quote at the beginning. Personally, I would have used double quotes: "The Good Place's" Janet.

Considering Janet does say "Not a girl" then it would make Janet non-binary so then the correct pronouns would be they/them?

Janet has no preference for pronouns, but people have deferred to she/her

Just because they call her/she doesn't mean they never asked. I think if Chidi knew about non-binary he would have asked because of morals. Eleanor and Jason would be the only two to call her/she while Thami, might ask.
