Yes it can crit however there is a strange interaction in order for dots to crit you seem to need a crit damage % increase modifier like reaper(harvester) set bonus or dagger passive and the crit is determined on application not per tick

Curse damage/duration along with heavy attack and crit. Our damage is based on the total remaining damage our dots would do and deliver it all at once in a burst which itself can crit/heavy
So i started getting interested when i noticed my poison dot not really working the way i thought it would, like I thought the more hits = more damage.. BUT then i noticed, using Inject Venom + Cnipe and ESPECIALLY heavy attack crit suddenly i see 200 poison tick go to 600-700

Curse explosion takes the remaining duration (damage) of all dots and delivers it in 2 spikes of damage + the skills damage itself. I believe its a 50/50 split which was an attempt to make it possible to mitigate as previously we could hit 40k explosions. I'll take a look though as not been overly bothered about how the damage is split specifically.
Honestly I feel like DoTs are just super clunky in regards to how they work with heavy, crit and bonus damage. Feels like they didn't put much effort into making them feel good to use/itemize around.
They are clunky, this stars at the NCSoft stupid thoughts of bring heavy attack hit harder than crit. In my honest opinion crit should be a heavy X2, I mean, heavy should be a max roll in the base damage and crit should be that X2. Like it any game crits > all. But here you should build both yo actually make some damage.
If curse explosion can heavy attack, does that mean you can 2x the damage of the dot explosion? If so, if you heavy attack on a dot application, can you then 2x the curse explosion for 4x damage? ( If you are verg lucky :D ).
You can heavy and crit both parts so can theoretically heavycrit both elements of explosion for insane damage :D which is what well see in tier 2 when we can get 400+ heavy attack chance.
Dex is weak for us it offers very little. Bonus damage doesntbqork with dots in the way we'd like and is hars to get enough of to see a difference compared to Xbowbl players that have insane numbers of hits per skill. Skill damage boost is godly and is a % based stat so want as much as we can get
@@VextGamingEU I really wish it didn’t function this way for poison. Maybe if we had a grace period, or every skill rolling poison damage instead of hits would be easier to manage. Maybe a specialization allowing every reapplication after 20 stacks to be an automatic heavy.
@@VextGamingEU Hey Vext, which GeforceNOW subscription do you use? I tried the free one with T&L, but it felt horrible, so I was hesitant to try a paid one. My mouse was lagging and there was a lot of frame generation which made the game look ugly. I have 600Mbit/s fiber, so my internet shouldn't be a problem I guess. I would love to play T&L on nice graphics :D
Im trying to do sleep bombs, but not sure it doesnt work…karmic haze is not working for me… is it bcz my hit chance is low or something? My karmic haze is purple lvl 1, and sleep is purple lvl 2
In PvP its likely you're missing or being resisted. Would need to see it to know, also if you don't play with instant sleep you need to wait for the sleep to proc before karmic as it spreads the sleep not the curse
The game laging in co-op dungeons can mess with dot’s skills really badly where it won’t proc or keeps ticking long after it should have been done but doesn’t do any damage then it resets the damage done i only have console so can’t confirm if this on pc happens
a swirling set effect (weaken duration 7.5^) is not working(tried equip and unequipped = same duration) this game is love only greatsword user and xbow
It's 7.5% not seconds so will only see the effect worlkng when it hits 1 second duration increase so depends where you're at. It's useless for us stats are bad and set bonus is weak
