I applied passport in Bengaluru, and I got the passport within 2 days at my home address. I totally disagree that passport seva has not improved. There was a time when it takes 5-6 months and even years to get the passport and even have to give bribe to multiple stakeholders. I've not paid even a single penny on bribe.
