What’s so wild about growing up in New Orleans is that I had no clue that they were Marine Vets, but came home to NOTHING after supposedly defending “OUR COUNTRY”.
That’s the shit that bothers me the most about America. It’s no way anybody that signed up and served our country should come home and struggle with employment housing medical or any of that. Hell america should take care of veterans for life
They ain't lying, niggaz used to tear them trains apart. I'm from the 9th ward, I remember they left a train cart by carver.... full of guns. That shit was more of a setup than luck.
They do that in every predominantly black area in America. Guns were always the most easiest thing to get. It’s crazy because niggas thought they were hitting the train for its cargo, but it was basically a whole set up the whole time for niggas to kill each other.
These twins are smart, they used too chill in the park and play chess and watch there workers, you didn't have too go in the project too score from them, so you not catching a trespassing charge,I got about 24 trespassing chargers fucking with the melph, and twice in the St Thomas, the twins had the old side on lock, whop and them had magnolia st on lock, and the hot boys had 6th&willow on lock.
I GOT SO MUCH RESPECT FOR THE TWINS NOW.... WHY CUZ THEY REALLY TRIED TO BE SOMETHING THEY WENT MILITARY. THEY AT LEAST GAVE LIFE A SERIOUS TRY B4 THEY JUMPED IN STREET
Soulja slim was a clown nigga that by himself he cool asf but when he with his potna he act like he's a killer but will do it for clout that's what I got from Soulja slim h o d I was lock up with him 3 different time
@@uptownscenery9175 Man I gotta real question for both of y'all boys as I hey convo's with one of the twins and my sister who used to be a Marine and they came home not believing in God was it the same thing for y'all?? FYI:My sister do now tho..twin I doubt it

@@johnscott2092 I heard that story when I was a kid. One of the guys was about to be released and was "tipped off" about a train and where it would be. Some guys went to the train and I'm not even going to talk about the crazy stuff they came back with. I didn't go and I still didn't really believe the train story. I thought they just robbed somebody shop. 20 years later I heard the SAME story from some younger guys in the SAME city! Now I'm hearing the SAME story from DIFFERENT cities. It's crazy and sad man.
The train tracks were right behind our hood in Imperial Dr…7th ward. Man my people used to hit that shot and come back with computers, boxes of meat, motorcycles, silk pajamas, etc. That shit used to be funny but they showed love to the hood. You get caught tho and that’s straight fed time.
Man I wonder how lil Timmy was feeling when he shot whammy and ain’t kill that nigga! -Double G (Just uptown) I was in LTI with Timmy and I remember he wasn’t home long b4 he got killed

People who haven’t experienced generational poverty wouldn’t understand how a poverty mentality works. We’re not functioning from abundance but from scarcity, survival. I’m not saying it’s impossible to overcome it within the boundaries of the law, but it might as well be. Poverty creates a survival mindset it kinda gives you tunnel vision it’s hard to see the bigger picture. You think in terms of 1-2-3 instead of 3-6-9 if you understand what I mean. That’s not accounting for the outside forces that created the situation of generational poverty and the manipulation that takes place to keep you there.
@@xenasty696x lol that's a great breakdown. psychology can get handed down generation to generation just like anything else. the street culture itself can turn a person who's straight-laced to someone who sees what they're doing as survival. it's the culture.
