I'm not a course creator that will simply turn on the screen recording and ramble, then call that teaching. I meticulously plan _every_ module and lesson to _maximize the learning and value_ for the student. To that end, it takes me a while to put together courses. If I'm going to dedicate the time, resources, and energy to putting this full course together, I need to know that there is enough interest in the full course. I'm rating that by how wide a reach this series achieves. *If you are interested in seeing the full course developed, then the best way to bring that to fruition is to spread the word about this content* . By itself it already conveys _a lot_ of value. So sharing even just the 7 lessons (13 videos) in this series will surely help whoever you share it with. Plus ... many online communities would greatly benefit from these videos. Think of all the Internet points you could acquire if you shared this series (karma, likes, follows, etc.) 😉 Use this link to share the full series: ru-vid.com/group/PLIFyRwBY_4bRLmKfP1KnZA6rZbRHtxmXi Also, if you share it on Twitter or LinkedIn, please tag me =): twitter.com/ed_pracnet/ www.linkedin.com/in/eharmoush/
There is NO ONE that can break down, and clarify, these fundamentals (and even the more complex stuff, like TLS) like Ed does. He is an absolute guru at communicating this content.
Hi Ed I am an electrical engineer working in VoIP. I spent this weekend going through this Networking Fundamentals module. It has filled in so many holes in my knowledge! I feel much more confident about my work. Thank you for making it so understandable and easy to follow. Really amazing.
No words to express my thanks to your effort. Even though I have read this concept many times through pages of networking books, this video gives altogether different perspective of learning!!. Extraordinary!!
I am a software developer and was not much interested in networking. As part of random search I have gone through network protocol video. After watching that video, I have decided to go through entire series which I just completed. In my opinion, every single minute of the entire series has most valuable content. I think it would be very hard to get such content even with paid course. Thank you so much for such a precious content at free of cost.
Thank you for the kind words, Ankit. I'm so happy you got so much from this series. If you are willing... Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .
This class is just perfect! Everything is explained very clearly and I think few people can explain this in such a good way. Thanks for this course, I understand everything much better now!
Hi Joran =). So glad you enjoyed it. Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .
I never made a comment on a youtube video in 10 years but dear from the bottom of my heart..God bless your soul brother.....i don't know what to say as no words can describe the efforts you made...🥰🥰..
I've studying networking for the last 7 months, I was able to recognized/understand %85 of the steps on the data flow, the other %15 left I wasn't completely confident was so greatly explained that I hope I'll never forget, and the final analogy was pure gold, it all make sense, 20 minutes and done. Thank you.
Each and every video on this playlist deserves the algo pampering. After following along on this journey, the information was becoming redundant by the time it was called out. The self awareness of the quality of information being presented is more evidence of his mastery of teaching networking fundamentals.
I try to be respectful of my viewer's time =). Glad you enjoyed the video! Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .

Thank you so much for the whole introduction to networking. I find it extremely well-thought and it helped me land a job as a site reliability engineer ❤
Awesome Scott! Good luck with your CCNA. I think this series is a GREAT starting point for your journey. Please pass it on to others you meet who are also on the CCNA journey =). Cheers !
This is the best explanation I have seen in my whole career regarding OSI and how data moves in a network. Thank you so much for taking the time to break this down. This is hall of fame level of explaining a concept that has been ephemeral for so many years
Thank you for the kind words, Kayode. Glad you enjoyed it =). Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .
You are amazing , i cant belive i spend money to a course from a very famous youtuber (dont want to say the name ) 80 hours of video and you are saying half of his course in 1 hour and way beter. Good job
Man, there is no other series, not even the ones that are made with expensive software and hardware by so-called professors, come close to this series. I would like to thank you for your work and if I ever make it anywhere in this field, I will compensate you for this. But for now I send you positive energy and good karma. I also like, comment on, share every singlw one of your videos. You deserve it. Thank you!!

Completely incredible. Can't imagine the amount of work behind this. I remember having a subject in University about this that despite the teacher being super cool, I understood nothing. You just explained the whole subject 100%!! I wish these videos were here 8 years ago! Congratulations, and thanks a million!
Amazing course! Very thorough, at no point there are important concepts left unexplained or poorly explained. The level of abstraction is just right: not going too deep into the technical nitty-gritty yet not missing any critical concepts. Great work, very valuable! Thank you for doing this!
Glad you've enjoyed it, Anatolii! Thank you for recognizing the intentionality behind the content =). Could you do me a favor? I really regret not discovering this series earlier. My final semester studying computer networking at university was a complete disaster. I attempted to learn from various teaching channels, but they lacked focus and coherence. I'm incredibly grateful to you for producing this series. Thank you immensely.
Thank you, Bob. That is kind of you to say =). Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .
watched all the video of this module and it's amazing so perfectly explained. because of the now i have basic idea about L2 and L3 switch difference. thank you for this free module.
This course is excellent. The graphics are clear, easy to understand and really add value to the course. The commentary is paced at just the right speed to explain things clearly, but at the same time to hold one’s attention. Superb effort and I look forward to future videos from this channel.
At the end of the video you boldly claim: "If you want to become a network engineer there's no better start than this video series". . . . . . Indeed. There isn't. Thank you for this 💚
Such a helpful series of videos. Everything was explained in a way that was easy to follow along. Thank you for putting all this useful information together!
Wow !! What a great job!! That's the best course on networking fundamentals I've never seen. Although my English is not so fluent, I've fully understood the concepts. Your explanation is just so wow ✨✨ !!!
Awesome, Inoussa. So glad you enjoyed this series =). Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .
incredibly good series. As an IT professional, I stumbled across the Network Protocols video out of general interest when working on something and ended up watching the whole series. Cool to know from a curiosity standpoint regardless of how valuable this knowledge is for any IT role
Hi John! Thanks for the kind message. Glad you enjoyed the series. And I agree with you 100%, a little cross-discipline training goes a long way! Cheers!
Normally, I do not post comments, but I am so much grateful that I felt the need to write it. I have gone through all kinds of resources, various web sites, chatgpt and many youtube videos and there has always been something unclear to me. After completing this playlist, I exactly know how everything works and thank you so much for all you have taught. THIS IS JUST BRILLIANT!!!
Thank you so much for the kind comment =) Comments like these are a large part of why I make videos. So glad this helped make networking "click" for you. Cheers friend!
I like to thank you for putting this module together. Your explanation on all topics are brilliant. I cant wait to complete this full course. I hope you update soon. For now I just like to give you a prayer of having success in this world and hereafter.
This video series is Fantastic! I really love wholistic practical focus on understanding the entire process not just a single aspect. I also love the verbose repetition and I agree that it really helps me to learn. I have two routers in in my home office network, one of which is running OpenWRT. The routers are connected to each other but only one can access the internet. This course has helped me to understand the things I need to check in order to figure out what is going wrong.
Studying for my CCNA and just stumbled upon this as I was trying to refresh my knowledge before starting my Boson practice tests. Out of all the videos I've watched this has been the most comprehensive and easily digestible breakdown of how data flows across a network. Excellent content!
This will be the best networking fundamentals video in the entire world. Explanation is crystal clear and I was able to get a solid foundation on basic networking concepts covered in this series. Keep up the amazing work brother.
Every now and then i will return to this video to refresh my knowledge. This entire module was fantastic. I have truly learned a lot in terms of how data traverses the internet. Thank you for this insightful Module.
Hi Sulekha! Thanks for the kind note. Glad you enjoyed this series =) Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .
Thank you for these series, I had to refresh what I learned in CCNA and this was straight forward with all key points needed. I appreciate your hard work!
I knew nothing about networking even after doing my 4 years course of BTech IT. I always attended interview with the fear of what if they ask about networking. After watching your series I'm like now am gonna teach networking to the interviewers my confidence level is to the top. Love you♥️ and thank you for helping me out . Once again here is my ♥️.
Everything you put out is excellent and we're talking about you to others. I'm spreading the news and I'm proud to do so. The complex concepts you've made simple and fundamental. Please do more fundamentals.
i enjoyed learning about the OSI model. it gave me a clear understanding on how everything works and it made the rest of the course much more easy. thank you very much
lot of thanks for the free lessons. congradulations to me for finishing the network fundamental modules. congradulations to u too. Receive lots of love from Kenya
This has been the best intro to networking series I have seen. I once tried another a year ago but this one just hit the spot. It addressed all my questions completely. I will need to take more advanced courses but this has laid the groundwork for it. Thank you so much.
Excellent, Victor. Glad you enjoyed the series =) Could you do me a favor? Do you mind sharing this video on Linked In, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media you use? As an independent creator, that would be an _enormous_ help, and I would appreciate it _greatly_ .
This course is the best anywhere. I struggled with many other courses and yt videos but now have complete clarity. I will continue with all of the free training and will pay for any other training that is available from the creator. Very well done. Thank you sir. You should be proud of your work.
Great series man! Our govt. cut off our internet and I realized how clueless I am about networks. Some of my friends were able to figure out how to bypass the ban and I was feeling dumb. This video helped me solidify my basics. Thanks for your effort!
Hello, I am not an English speaker and my knowledge of English language is not much, but the explanation was so simple and fluent, I learned the whole thing completely. thank you so much.💙💙💙
This video is awesome for anyone who wants how data cross over the internet and is received by the intended recipient. I am not an IT person (my background is in business and politics), but I understand the concepts (e..g, OSI, protocols, ports, and a little bit of subnetting, among others.). Thank you very much for the very well-prepared video presentations.
very well taught, amazing course! I enjoyed every one of the episodes, especially about the OSI layers 2 to 3, now I understand a lot more about what IP addresses are and what MAC addresses are for, thank you!
I really appreciate you for letting us to learn about networking fundamentals for free besides that the way you teach is super clear and easy to understand specially this lesson was my favorite lesson Thanks again.
This is done so outstandingly well. Its gonna take many views to get it solid in my head but clear and clean presentation as always! No one does it this well.
Amazing content! Just went through the networking fundamentals playlist and my brain just blown away. Thank you for sharing such a helpful, informative and exciting content with everyone! 😇
I was a complete novice to networking but i have learnt so much in about 10 days going through your 13 videos..Its abolutely easy to understand...Thanks so much for this
You're very welcome, Adeniji. Glad you've learned from this series. Please help me spread the word about this content so you can lead other people to the same knowledge you have received! Cheers!
This video tutorial series is gold. I am regretting now that, why i didn't find this before in my graduation time. Thank you very much for this tutorial series
Thanks a lot for making such an informative series of videos about networking. I learned a lot after watching all the videos. Your way of describing it was amazing. Thank you again.
