Hey- nothings wrong with 2 weeks. My husband told me we were getting married 2-3 weeks after we started talking. We married as soon as we could 38 years later, 3 kids then adopted 2 kids. Not always easy but we never gave up. Life is great.. thank you Lord!

I was helping my aunt earlier today and I was helping her sell origami owl not knowing that Bella is the owner so I was SHOOK!! I then asked I WONDER HOW THEY MET and I just saw they posted this video!! what a coincidence !!love you guys!

I LOVE seeing love stories like this!!! The fact that the two of you were friends for a year before you started dating, makes your marriage stronger right from the beginning. I knew the minute I laid eyes on my Husband, that he was going to be a significant part of my life. He felt the same thing. We just celebrated 41 years of marriage on the 25th of June! It is not always roses, and you both have to do your part, but it is so worth it!!! Right after our wedding my Grandmother took my arms in her hands and very lovingly she said Kimmy Dawn ( her nickname name for me) you are a married woman now, and that means you are responsible for 50% of this marriage, she said some of the best advice I can give you, is to make sure that you never put yourself in situations, that you could start having feelings for another man. I said oh Grandma, I know that! She said oh I don’t think you do yet, but you will! I was a teller at a Credit Union in a Federal Building . I waited on guys from the Military all the time. That’s how I met my Husband. He was across the street working at MEPS. He was in the Air Force. And we had Navy, Marines and Army Headquarters in my Building. So one day, three months after I got married, a Marine named Ed came to my window, and as I was taking care of his banking business, he just looked me in the eye and said, let’s go out for drinks tonight, I’ve had my eye on you for a while now. I was just stunned, because it seemed like everyone who knew me, knew that I got married, plus I had a wedding ring on. I didn’t know what to say, so I said well no, that’s not going to happen, I am married. He said I know you are, but big deal, having an affair never hurt anyone. He won’t even know, besides I’m a Marine, and I get what I want… and suddenly Grandma and her words of wisdom were with me. I looked at him and said well Ed, you aren’t getting what you want this time, not from me anyways. So don’t waste your time or mine mentioning it again, because that is a hard NO!!! Have a nice day!! When he left the other girls said way to go!! I told them from now on when he came in, one of them needed to call him to their window, that I would not be waiting on him again!! They said they didn’t blame me. I never spoke to the man again. Grandma and her wisdom!!! ❤❤❤

And Dallin’s proposal was sooo cute and well thought out !!

It's best to start out as friends. Whenever I met my husband I told him that guys don't like to go on dates anymore. We met every week and even if we just went t get fast food and then walk and talk at the park, that was a date. We sent texts multiple times a day every day and we called each other and sometimes did video chats and I feel like that really helped us in getting to know each other and creating a strong foundation for our relationship to be built on. The best things in life take time.

Bella, I was sooooo like you before my proposal happened. I didn't want to do anything or go anywhere. My hubby still talks about it. He asked me to meet him after his work. (I had been in a car accident so I wasn't working at the time and had to take the bus to meet him.). I was wearing cougars, and a bandana wrapped around my head. He said he was going to take me out for dinner. I thought it would just be an ordinary cafe but it was a nice restaurant. He had the whole thing planned (reservation!) He was soooo disappointed to see what I was wearing and rightfully so. LOL He proposed, regardless. :-) And.....we've been married for 42 years.
