she's so amazing! i didn't know she started with vocaloid. her cover of senbonzakura is literally my favorite version of the song and i was not aware of her history she's truly impressive
I usually don't get in contact with any Japanese music outside of Anime OPs and EDs, but some day Ussewa from Ado just popped up in my weekly spotify mix and I instantly got goosebumps. I love that song way too much
I'm young, like, very young. I'm currently 12 and I have always had a love for music. I would be considered fairly "gifted" in music with a vocal range of just about 4 octaves and an ability to hit growl notes pretty well with no real training. My 3 problems? 1. I'm pretty damn ugly. 2. I have a low voice (okay, but really, I'm 12 and have a medium/low alto voice?) and 3. I have social anxiety. I wanted to be a singer but ignored it. And then when I was 11 I stumbled across Ado. Now, I was a Rin/Miku lover. I thought I had to sing high. I realized I can sing in the rock sections. I learned to scream and sing low. I'm learning more about music, but until then I'm working on learning to sing so I can make covers when I'm 13/14. I'm so happy I found Ado because I think I would've just never started singing if I hadn't found her.
@@U-qho I'm American. I don't plan on being in the Japanese music industry. Also, 6 octaves? No they can't. Almost nobody can hit 6 octaves. Almost 5 is VERY impressive.
I found Ado thought a 96neko cover ironically, so there’s an utaite sandwich there lol. I love both in their own ways and their insane vocal ranges (although kurochan is more subdued and “mature” while Ado is more brazen). I’m almost surprised the two haven’t seemed to have any contact or inspiration from each other ? I’m sure if Ado had watched other utaite in her youth, then surely she must’ve heard of her …? They both do everything they can to hide they faces too 👀👀👀👀 (delusional)

yeah, after so much consume cute song of japan with high pitch voice, i've had enough with that and even i make standard for that i can enjoy for this kind of song. If it's too high, i would skip it or not listen it twice
It really is incredible how she has this monstrosity of a voice (in a good way ofc) at such an early age AND without any formal training. It always leaves me in awe. Such a great video too. Thank you for also appreciating and supporting her with your videos!
Her cover of Unravel is by far my favorite song by her and by far my favorite version of that song, she just gets to go all out with her voice on that song and the live version is just insane and blows everything out of the water with her vocals alone
Man, I found out about Ado thanks to Uta’s songs from the One Piece Red film, but after hearing Usseewa and Odo I fell in love with her music, she’s an amazing singer and it’s insane how young she was when she began with her music interest and how fast she grew in talent and fame and became a top tier japanese singer
God, I love Ado's music. I find it really hard to find a list of my top 5, but I'd say (in no particular order) love is war, crime & punishment, love ka?, otome dissection and shikabanese. On another note, can't wait for her covers in (I believe) December! Unravel, Buriki No Dance, Villain, etc. And, of course, Dignity, which is next Monday/the 18th.

She is amazing, I have a somewhat deeper voice for a girl too and I adore j-pop so I really enjoy her story! I have always loved music but I doubt I would be able to go all the way on that especially since I don’t know have much motivation and I don’t really know where I would start, but she is inspiring nonetheless ❤

Still crazy to me that I found her back in 2018-2019 when she mainly did Covers of other songs. So glad others finally started to notice her. She's still my absolute favorite artist of all time with probably the most beautiful voice of all time.
Long-term fan of Ado and holy shit I was hyped when was in Japan during Ado x JR Rail Music Rally event in Hiroshima and Miyajima. Headed there ASAP from Osaka and pretty much biked through the entire city and took the tram to Miyajima on Day 1. Ado popularity is severely understated. Even on a random day, there were many fans next to the life-size cutout at the station and the limited stamp, at the ferry booth for the Ado clear file. There were promotional poster for her album at pretty much every music store. I went around to look for her merchs but it was sold out at all the stores I went to. The best thing I got was an Ashura-chan minifigure from a Gashapon machine in 2 tries kek.
I have heard a lot of people cover Usseewa but i didn’t know she was the original vocal of the song. Just until i watched OP movie i was so suprised at her voice❤ she has such a nice voice and talent, hope she will be more success in the future

I randomly came across Useewa about 2 years ago and I couldn't stop listening to Ado ever since. I know all her songs by heart, including the cover songs. Every Song is an absolute Gem. Loved you Video about it. Weird I found a video like that about her so late but it was worth it! Didn't know her backstory before now or where the Name comes from. Good Job!
I always loved ado’s twist on singing, it had this kind of attitude to it that is unique. I think she is truly a one of a kind. I never knew she was so young when she started that’s so crazy!

I remember finding her ussewa video during lockdown while doing hw and it was honestly one of the greatest things that happened to me. To see her so popular and flourishing as an artist is honestly so deserved, she’s so talented!
The worst (or best) part Is that her voice isn't that deep,It's just her natural voice,but a lot(I mean all...like literally all) of vocaloid covers by real people or Japanese/English covers,the person singing Is forcing their voice ,they always make It more high pitched because they could've had a voice like Ados but nop...they fuck It up... that's what happens when you don't tend to have any training since the start...and also due to the fact that Ados voice matured faster so yeah massive advantage over your average person who can sing ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I learn Japanese and a lot of Japanese people women specifically try hard to be cute but it's mostly sounds childish and actually. I don't like it... I’ve been practicing my own vocals using Ussewa! I’ve got a relatively low singing voice (a bit higher than Ado’s) and it’s worked out so well for me. I’m not straining myself as much as I used to. I love her music so much.
What I like the most is actually her personality when I see clips of her reacting to things. It's sooo funny to see her dying in cringe. It's pretty much like seeing Bocchi irl.
I'm a simple man. I go watch One Piece: Red in theaters here in SoCal. I consider it the best One Piece Movie. I loved the music. I go back home on RU-vid and listen to the Red album. I find out the singer's name is Ado. I listen to her other music after that. Next thing you know, I listen to her music everyday. That's all there is to it.
The algoritm showed me a live-clip of Ado (unravel) like three days ago. Been a fan of J-pop for years. There's J-Pop and there is J-Pop. I've never enjoyed the ultra high-pitched j-pop, neither the Jpop Idol-thing. It is a great time to be a fan of indie-J Pop when more of these (in other cases) "odd/alternative" artists tend to make it big. Think Ling Toshite Shigure was the catalyst. And the fact that Yoasobi, Wednesday Campanella, Jyocho and most of all Ado is making it mainstream shows that the audience yearns after something else than the bubblegum boilerplate J-pop that has been leading for the last decades. The japanese music scene overall have been really interesting the last 7-8 years. Another thing, it's hilarious how the western audience thinks that AI-controlled vocal instruments are the sign of Apocalypse. Meanwhile Vocaloid have been the main influence, and the starting point of a bunch of new japanese artists today.

I found ADO when her covers and songs were uploaded to other channels, and searching ADO on yt and spotify yielded nothing, it was surreal to see people finding out and this blowing up. Her voice is so unique and powerful and she deserves all the success and recognition ❤
First heard Ado from Suisei's cover of usseewa, gira gira, and odo was it? I always loved how Suisei sang it so I decided to check the og and see how they differ and damn, I was astonished. Immediately fell in love with her vocals and has been listening to her songs since.

Yesss I've been listening to Ado since 2020, she was at like 300k youtube subscribers. It's been awesome to see her blow tf up, I was surprised he wasn't "huge" when I found her, I'm glad she's getting the recognition she deserves!! She's like the best Japanese singer in the last decade. And she's my age! lmao
And… she sings on the Japanese version of LE SSERAFIM’s UNFORGIVEN…. (Awesome version! ) She’s definitely a GREAT singer, crazy good vocal range AND energy… and the mystique about her… she’s a god damn badass.
