Its absolutely breathtaking how many uncovered ruins there are in Afghanistan and its surroundings. In most of locations like Greece or Macedonia most of those ruins are at the bottom with many of them being rebuilt as purely Roman when Roman Empire came. The reason we say Alexander couldn't conquer Afghanistan is because, he came into country through capturing Herat continuing towards Balkh and Badakhshan (Southern Sogdia, were he married Roxan in the bank of Amu river) and upward towards Northern Sogdia( where he conquered his eastern most fortress and chnaged its name to Alexandria Eschate), from there he went all the way back to Herat and then going around the eastern parts of Persia towards Kandahar. There is so much misinformation in this "documentary", it's not even funny. Alexander was MACEDONIAN and conquered the "ancient greeks".
