honestly, i think Gelatin did kill him! we only saw half of his body, so it is possible that the other half was turn into sunglasses, so it would make sense if Gelatin did end up killing him and leaving the remaining waste.

My theory: Gelatin caught BBQ sauce and tried to turn him into glasses, since BBQ sauce was made out of hard glass, Gelatin ended up breaking him in the process. All the stress got up to Gelatin so he destroyed the inside of the steakhouse and abandoned it.

Theory for this: Coiny noticed BBQ sauce died before Tpot 9 and recovered him but his dead corpse remained like the FreeSmart in the canal

Here's my theory: BBQ Sauce was about to die rolling, but Pineapple caught him before he died. But, after the events of BFDIA, Gelatin found BBQ Sauce and used a part to turn him into sunglasses and used to other part to rot. Before that, BBQ Sauce and Pineapple decided to wreck up the shadeshouse after they took down the caution tape, so no one would find them. But, Gelatin hid his remainings there, and in a hidden place so that no one would find his corpse and suspect him to be a murderer. But, that part that Pillow found was BBQ's dead corpse after 10 years. If she wasn't a BFDIA contestant or psychotic, she wouldn't call the cops on him. Man, how lucky Gelatin is. BBQ Sauce said they changed from steaks to sunglasses after the Rancid Recession of 2013. I think that's when Gelatin turned everyone into sunglasses. That's why all of his workers left, and in BFB 12, Gelatin took a steak that was probably one of his workers. People say he took him to sell steak, but this was after 2013. But, he maybe escaped as seen in BFDI MINI DELICIOUS, and then we saw a piece of meat in the fridge dead, when Ruby and Coiny made ice cream. I believe that was someone that Jordan (the steak) was related to. Gelatin wasn't going to turn him into sunglasses, yet.. Also, no one noticed about this detail. In BFDI MINI DELICIOUS, when Jordan was eliminated, Gelatin took him AGAIN. But, we see him at the end at BFDI MINI DELICIOUS, so maybe he escaped. OR.. was that a clone...? Then, Gelatin said he smelled BBQ Sauce after last month's fumigation. That was used to pick off the other workers. BBQ Sauce, Jordan, and Pineapple were the only ones, and all three noticed how everyone gets picked off one by one. Jordan ran away, never to be seen again except in BFB 12 and BFDI MINI DELICIOUS, on the other hand, BBQ Sauce and Pineapple did the same. The three noticed Gelatin's plan, that's why they are avoiding Gelatin. BBQ managed to take the button from Gelatin's headphones, as it was maybe shortly left out by Needle and taken by BBQ Sauce. Now, you all are wondering what happened to Pineapple after BBQ's body was taken by Gelatin. Pineapple is hiding from Gelatin still, as we don't know what the post-split contestants are doing, and searching for his older brother to get him back. Another theory of mine is that after TPOT 9, Pineapple FOUND BBQ's corpse, and is trying to find information about how to recover him. His victims we saw in TPOT 9 and BFDIA 8: Ladle (ladle shades) Hot Sauce (the "ketchup" shades) Funhouse Mirror (yellow & purple shades) Thesaurus (Book's Sister!) (green & blue shades) Cleaver (knife shades) Night-Vision Goggles (the one Price Tag wore in TPOT 9) Edit: BFDIA 10 came out! Here's some updates: Pineapple was BBQ Sauce's brother, as he was a worker like BBQ Sauce. When BBQ Sauce noticed that everyone has been getting picked off, he desperately told his brother. From that day on, they've been hiding from Gelatin. They put some caution tape around the shadeshouse to hide from Gelatin. I have a theory that Pineapple had been captured by Gelatin, but BBQ Sauce saved him in time. Now when Gelatin was gone, they didn't need to hide anymore. I made a few tweaks with the theory!

I think it’s because he continued his stakehouse chain, though not in that specific area as that building was abandoned, but after the events to BFDIA and before the events of TPOT, he went back to making stakes and used BBQ sauce after catching him, whilst killing him. He also most likely left his body there since his main stakehouse chain is in another part of Goiky, where the rest of the Post-Split contestants (aside from Firey, Leafy and TD) reside.

My theory, may be a bit deep: So as we can see the steak house looks destroyed. Go back to TPOT 6 when DPA entered the steak house, it didn’t look destroyed, but then in TPOT 9, it’s completely destroyed. So my theory is that BBQ’s death was set in TPOT(present year) and then BBQ decided to randomly go back to the steak house, and what I’m thinking that Lightning’s thunder strike also somehow hit the steak house with BBQ inside of it, then the steak house collapsed on BBQ.

I feel like in bfdia 9 we'll probably see how he dies but I don't think it was because of gelatin who killed him. Plus the steakhouse is not where it was in bfdia 8 in current day. So maybe he died when it got moved over to where it is in current day. For why he wasn't turned into sunglasses, we hear no conversation about gelatin's shadehouse until tpot 9 so it may just be that the shadeshouse got shut down by gelatin as he moved onto new things

Now I think some people don’t realize that the gelatins steakhouse in bfdia is a different location then the one in tpot. My theory is that he fled to work at the steakhouse in the tpot area as Gelatin wasn’t working there. But another employee caught him and killed him so Gelatin could turn him into sunglasses. Either that, or he killed himself out of paranoia that Gelatin would eventually find him, and the steakhouse was his only option to work somewhere.

My theory is that BBQ sauce actually survived the roll away and went on to keep working there after the transition back to steak. However when the Lava from BFB 14 came around, he was unfortunately working in the steak house while it was happening and similarly to Bottle, he exploded from the heat, leaving that shattered remain of him. Idk if he’s recovered or not

My theory is that after gelatin left for BFB barbecue sauce was left alone, and then he decided to go somewhere and found the steakhouse part, and when he entered in, and he wanted to see more, so he rushed into the kitchen to go back to his glory days, but gelatin didn’t want anyone to start working in the part of the steakhouse, so he said the kitchen up with booby traps and barbecue sauce and ended up dying

I predict that, when you see TB, Fries, Pencil, and Ruby fall of the Eiffel Tower, you could see Gelatin walking away from the steakhouse after already leaving when putting coiny in the chad register. If he was there for a longer time he must have been there for another reason. So I think that when BBQ Sauce was rolling away, Gelatin found him in some way and killed him in some way of screen. Either that or he might have died in later BFDIA or another season.

My theory: Barbecue Sauce got caught by Gelatin after a challenge a few episodes after BFDIA 8, and since we only see his top half, Gelatin probably used the bottom half to make eyewear, and the top half stayed in the rubble for a reason I can’t think of at the moment.

Here's my Theory: After BBQ Sauce and Pineapple were done with BFDIA 10, Before BFB Started in the Finals Gelatin saw BBQ in the Steakhouse and Sought Revenge and Killed BBQ in Cold Blood or Cold Sauce

Heres my theory that I picked up from the back alley of a mcdonalds: Gelatin found barbecue sauce and barbecue sauce couldnt take it so they had a battle. Gelatin picked up his lightsaber and shoved it down his throat then barbecue sauce exploded cuz of the pretty lights in his body. Whats did i just say😂

Yeah it is kinda weird how he wasn't turned into sunglasses, we can only hope to see more of him in BFDIA 9, but it's not likely as he was a guest character sadly.

My theory of how he died is by *something* who used to live in the abandoned steakhouse before Tpot or probably before post-split. BBQ Sauce was attacked by an unknown *thing* and died to consume his fluids or BBQ Sauce. But the death of that *thing* unknown and lava isn't one of them, due how Gelatin's Stakehouse has lava-proof walls some how.

I would say that whole rolling away barbecue sauce ended up on a field that tpot would take place in, Then he probably spotted an abandoned gelatins steak house and then hid in there for probably the whole season of bfdia. my theory of his death was either he was trying to escape from the zombies and tripped and shattered himself or four and X just used his barbecue sauce for their kitchen (which of course probably led to him being killed)

I think gelatin got to him but as you can see by the other sunglasses the sunglasses were made multiple out of only 1 person so maybe the same happened to barbecue but there was part of him left over.

My theory is that BBQ sauce was Gelatin's best Employee so he spared him but BBQ sauce rolled into the Evil forest and crashed into a tree, shattering him, When Gelatin saw his remains, he mourned the death of him (Because him and BBQ sauce were best friends) and placed the shattered body at the back of the steakhouse as a request, and in TPOT 9, the body was still there to this day.

Some proof is that the stake house is still called gelatins stake house and not gelatins glasses, there Is also a part in bfb that gelatin takes (recommended character) stake which may have shown he is still in the stake Business. if you pay attention to the glasses the warehouse has in tpot 9 the ones price tag wore they aren't present in bfdia 8! you would think that the animators would re-use the previous alr made glasses like we saw in bfdia 8 but they didnt and instead went out of their ways to make new ones! this is deff done on purpose if you ask me! so gelatin did kill BBQ sauce and turned him into glasses.

The steakhouse is in yoyle city, golf ball has her factory in tpot, and was in bfdia’s starting place, and the yoyle land mountain is seen in the background of tpot, so tpot takes place in bfdia’s starting place, which would mean the steakhouse should be in yoyle city. Then how would bbq sauce get to goiky unless he rolled all the way to it.… wait, no.. how would bbq sauce roll across the intire goiky canal and make its way into another steakhouse? and the steakhouse in bfdia 8 would still be with the Eiffel Tower in yoyle land, then how is the steakhouse the same as the one in yoyle land??? Did they take a steakhouse across the goiky canal?

Since we see the stake house abandoned I think bbqs' death was probably a long time ago. Don't know why it was abandoned, probably the steakhouses was only in goiky and gelatin the pillary ruins. Maybe gelatin killed him when he found out probably on pre-bfb or bfdia. I guess this happen before bfb. We see bbqs' dead body on the gelatin steakhouse. And the steakhouse is on goiky since that is where tpot took place. And bfdia is also on goiky. And also pre-bfb. So my theory is that gelatin killed him during the split but didn't turn him to eyewear since he was teleported to the pillary ruins.

People need to remenber that the Rancid Recession of 2013 was somewhere in the timeline revoked sinse in TPOT 6 we learn that gelatin moved his steak house to other chains, so the Gelatin Steak house is back being a thing after the rebranding

i think in pre split bfb, some large off-screen non-living object somehow was flung to the steakhouse he was in (offscreen) and hit the bottom halve of barbecue sauce so hard that it shattered into many peices that are probably picked up by gelatin and only his top half remained until tpot 9 (released episodes so far-wise, as of the time i posted this)

I think that BBQ Sauce actually took his own life. After being discovered by Gelatin, and after a wild chase, I bet he shattered himself so that he wouldn't have to suffer a horrible fate at the hands of Gelatin. When Gelatin found the body, he shut down the location, leaving BBQ Sauce's broken corpse among the other debris

Here's my theory: l think it's because that BBQ sauce was so scared to be caught so he went to the forest to hide but evel leafy was there and she started to chase BBQ sauce. When BBQ sauce was running away from the forest, he might crashed into a huge rock while he was running and gelatin saw his dead body, he grabed it and put it in his ware house. I think😅

My theory is that gelatin didn’t kill barbecue sauce but it was blocky after he rolled down the hill blocky saw him and decided to make a prank video off camera that had him smashing barbecue sauce and I think he gave the pieces to gelatin because he saw him making glasses

Since BFDIA is wayyy before TPOT, i think we will see Barbecue Sauce in a few more BFDIA episodes or future episodes hopefully.

I think that a different steakhouse gelatin had so i think BBQ-sauce rolled there cuz coiny pushed him out of the door cuz there is no tower and the steak house we saw in Bfdia 8 didnt have any night vision sunglasses the one we saw in tpot 9 also had other stuff like a vent which was not there before and besides the BFDIA one was smaller.
