Yeah, a lot of criticisms of the trade focus on the move from 23 to 17, but they're effectively getting a top 10 pick. If you asked folks before the draft whether they would pass on Turner at pick 8-10 and trade back to pick 42 for a future 2nd, 3rd & 4th how many would take that deal?? As another commenter mentioned Kwesi measured the value of the player against the cost of draft capital - not the exchange of draft capital. When are they likely to get another chance to draft a player like Turner?
