How did Egypt Take The Suez Canal?
The Suez Canal is one of the world’s busiest maritime channels. It links the North Atlantic to Asia via the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea and then to the Indian Ocean.
The Suez Canal plays a crucial role in the international oil trade with tankers going to and from the Middle East to Asia, Europe, and North America.
The canal runs about 190 kilometers through Egypt. Starting in the north from the Mediterranean at Port Said and running down to the Gulf of Suez in the Red Sea.
These days, the Suez Canal is managed and operated by the Egyptian government, through the Suez Canal Authority. Its annual revenue is estimated at around $5 billion dollars and it accounts for almost 10% of world seaborne trade.

You make a good point "Built by Egyptians, in Egypt" because yea, we often forget, it was built By Egyptians, on their own land. The best that the British had to do with it was sending a few dozen engineers who DIDN'T have to sweat themselves to death digging in the hot Sinai sun getting paid pennies on the dollar and probably getting treated like shit by Europeans who thought they were worth less than the sand they were digging up. The British did not "make" the Sinai anymore than they "made" ANYTHING in the colonial period, they made the locals do it at gunpoint and then claimed to own it...because reasons i guess?

Egyptians own less then 50% of the total shares of the ownership of the Suez Canal so technically they do not own it and we all know what happened when the Egyptians tried to nationalize the canal and take control of it for the benefit of his people and nation and not for exploitation by foreign empires. Even offered to legally and in good faith buy out the majority ownership of shares so it would be legitimate and forthcoming but of course that was shot down and Egypt chose to do what it felt it had to do for its own self interests and you know who didn’t like those pesky Egyptians trying to exercise it’s free will and self sovereignty so they did what any tyrannical government at the time would of done in that time and suddenly started falsely smelling Soviet and Communistic influences and that was obviously justification enough. (Heavy Sarcasm)

Well if the colonialists didn't like it, it was communist don't you know? Even though Nasser was, if anything, a fanatical modernizer who fought like hell to liberate as many people as possible from old fashioned Islamic ideals. If only he had been more of an actual democrat instead of a fairly progressive dictator all things considered.

The European and American bastards supported extremist Islamic groups and brought them to power in the Middle East in order to remove the socialists and nationalists who welcomed the communist wave. Certainly, communism is not a wonderful ideology, but Westerners did not fight it in the Middle East and the whole world because of their love for good, but rather in order to ensure control for a longer period. on the wealth of the world and the exploitation of military influence to create economic domination of the world, so the grandson of the colonialist comes and tells us about his hatred for the sovereignty of states😅

Lol, you are so dumb. Do you think they would have given it to Egypt? Europe is well known for constant lies. Egypt did the right thing by not listening to Europe. Europeans lost it, so cope.

God, pronounce the name the canal CORRECTLY. It is "SOO-ezz". Not "Swess"

His pronunciation is fine. He’s actually pronouncing the canal’s name closer to how we Egyptians pronounce it, which makes his pronunciation better and more accurate than yours.
