It's amazing how you can see him blow his air out through his nose(bubbling) the first time he went under to check for the object. Then, the second time, he kept all his oxygen in, and there was not one bubble wasted for the full descent. Extremely intelligent.

Lost my Golden Girl a couple of years ago now. She was one heck of a swimmer, loved nothing more than running into the breakers on the local beach or just chasing gulls all day. If there was a complete stranger half a mile down the beach, off she would go and introduce herself tail wagging all the way. Once she got the introductions done she would always make her way back to me. Miss her so much.

Careful guys, alot of dogs are natural troopers, when playing in water they'll swallow alot to the point they're silently drowning, but they'll never show their stress, and just wag their tail and be happy, cause their nature is unwavering affection❤ ,you can be having a good time and they'll pass out, out of nowhere, remember this comment when your playing fetch with your dog at the beach

Awe this reminded me of my childhood dog. We had a golden retriever named Einstein. We lived in California at the time. So we would go camping and spend alot of our time near the river. We would throw rocks and sticks in and he would swim and bring them back. He truly was a wonderful dog! They make excellent family dogs. They only downfall is they get ear infections if their ears aren't cleaned regularly due to their hair. Expeically if they are swimming in rivers and oceans.

Golden retrievers actually have ""webbed feet"" that help them swim, acting almost like flippers. The “toes” on their paws are connected by thin webs of skin. This helps goldens move through the water easily and efficiently.

That cool and all but as pet owners it's up to us to keep them safe and not let them bite off more than they can chew.....

😮 estoy impresionado tuve que ver varias veces el vídeo, yo tube hace algún tiempo un pastor alemán que hacía eso, le arrojaba una piedra a el agua y se sumergía y me la traía, no se cómo le hacía porque el agua estaba revolcada, pero no tenía más de un metro de profundidad, hubiera sido interesante haberle lanzado una piedra a un lugar mas profundo para ver si lograba conseguirla, hoy ya no está conmigo 😢 lloré cuando partió, el además de cariñoso me cuidaba de otros perros incluso de las personas aún recuerdo a mi lomito, cuidenlos por favor no los matraten ellos nos cambian la vida para bien, y sacan lo mejor de uno ❤😊

"Tornado technique" 😂 That is pretty freakin smart for a dog to realize he gets more momentum downward into water by spinning himself. I know he didn't "critically think" that one out like a human would,😂 that's not what I mean, but for him to learn that probably from trial and error is still pretty damn impressive.
