Great riding. . It's impressive how much your riding g has approved since your wreck. Much smoother , tighter and later apexes.... Fedy is exceeding the lean angles of his sled because of his body positioning. I mentioned the same to Kitty. They need to work on getting their upper body off the bike and head out inline with the mirrors. They slide their ass off the seat but their head stays over the tank so they are sitting crossed up on the bike and chest facing the wrong direction. There is far more mass in the upper body and using it allows the rider to corner faster with less lean angle . Both Kitty and Fedy are hitting that apex a little early. When too early on the apex it required to rider to do more then necessary, on and off the throttle ( pumping the throttle) upsets the balance of the bike, not to mention leaning and straighting the bike up multiple times thru the turn. As you know a later apex allow you to carry more speed into the turn, and at the apex steady roll on the throttle .
**the salient point is having to lean the bike more to make the turn due to the early apex, than on/off throttle but that point is valid as well, it destabilize the whole system!
That shiiit was crazy, those pegs are so high up. OPEN that CHEST up into the turn ✊🏻✊🏻,Drag that knee and keep the bike more upright. Easy to write from RU-vid, I’d still get spanked.
This guy and Badkitty upper body position are terrible. In terme of moving COG, sway (butt) is less effective than moving upper body into turn. As you cas see, their bike need more lean than necessary. If you combine both swaying and moving upper body into turn, you go way faster with same lean angle ;-) Thus, he needs to replace those "street" pegs by racing one (without the nipple)
I enjoyed the most the first part where you are the last rider of the group. Thx for using the speedometer with DTC, Brake and lean angle. I appreciate that you listen to your community
@@jamesglover4614 won't argue there. They totally are! nothing but the biggest respect for those. Theres some good documentaries over here on RU-vid of the life of those pilots. They are legends.
Excellent fast riding as always by Wristy. Feddy slaying the dragon with his pegs and with Kitty getting the appreciative solute from guy on the cruiser!!!!
That looked class, serious pilots, really leaning into those twisties, amazing to watch, shame about all the big fat tractors plodding along flipping yez off,
He went from running 2nd gear to now 1st, surprised 1st gear is tall enough to run through the straights that fast. I run 2nd mostly on my gsxr1000 with 1 tooth up in the rear.
Happened to me once so I try and hang off more including the upper body on tight corners. Maybe higher pegs but not good if you are tall. Sometimes its hard to tell if the tyre let go before the scrape. Remember not too much tyre pressure and check suspension, for me this makes a big difference if set up correctly but I'm no expert.
I really love it. Everytime wristy upload all the videos with the maxfam.with kitty & benny..there's more lot of excitement.and adrienalines, keep it up man...i miss all the past video with maxy..
Passing on the inside is frowned upon at the track also. Especially if there’s beginning/intermediate riders on the track. On the street is just stupid.
Passing riders you don't know on the outside edge of them (near the roads edge) is just an asshole move. Ur gonna do that to the wrong person and get fked up.
Damn I used to hate Harleys in the canyons when I was trying to go fast. They were actually slower than the cars and would sometimes get pissed you passed them.
IMHO I don't think that's too much leaning angle, if you look carefully you see him losing the rear tyre and THAN scratchin whatever it is. That was a high side unborn :) lucky him!
Why would the biker shoot y’all the bird/ say fuk y’all? It’s the dragon.. People run the shit out of it. What did he expect??? No... but seriously... did he expect to bring a bagger to the dragon and all the sport bikes ride at his pace?? Asking seriously, for myself?
To many Harley weekend warriors,,, Monday should make for some better open road riding.. The BMW has so much more lower end power, you and Kenny should trade bikes for a day. See if he can keep up with you riding the S1000
Gotta throw your head into the turn aswell. See some faces staying over the tank. Looks like wrists puts his head into the turns. Nit sure bout the other guys
The rubber god damn the black rubber Praise the Red White and Blue BMW No New Honda god damn The new BMW is the same as the old BMW is the Racers Harley Davidson
Although I don't know how much you could trust the accuracy when one guy on a BMW I was riding with was showing him hitting 65 and I was like no effing way your hitting 65 when MotoGP riders only hit 62. So for sure his reading was inaccurate.
The max lean angles are displayed in the center of his display for both left and right. If you pause and zoom in you can read them. Appears he was hitting mid-upper 50s for lean angles each way.
@@S1Krr_Peters I’m totally familiar with the display on Max Wrist’s bike, because I have the same one on my S1000XR. I’m watching those videos on my iPad, I’ll put on my best reading glasses and try to see these lean angles again. The lean angles can be seen in the BMW Connected app for each ride, and I wonder whether it’s possible to mix them into the videos in post processing. But there must be another method to do this. BTW, my maximum lean angle is 30° so far … but I’m 67 years old.
How about using the comunicator or hand signals or stop turning around on the sqids You have following, thats why you got bunched up on the T bone, that was on you Max,thing is we don't have the option to turn around on our friends at the track
Race bikes pegs are usually a little higher allows a little more lean angle..he did exceed lean angle because of his body position turn shoulders up and into the turn and lean off with the upper body it's higher up so it turns the bike with less effort
@@Suntika definitely possible, all you gotta do is look at the peg and you'll see the scratches. I wear a size 14 so I have to keep my feet tucked all the way in or I'm scrapping on corners.
I’m sorry but you guys are the perfect example of stereotype sport bike riders. YOUR NOT FAST. U just have a 1000cc. Riding TECHNIQUES and edict is horrible. Like why is your body up and the bike down!!
This Wifi Lit guy is so salty. Going around trash talking people on the internet, with nothing to back his words other than video game footage on his channel.... You try going faster on the Dragon, there's not much distance between corners there buddy. But I guess it's different on Ride 4. 😂
@@Suntika do u even Bike? Lmao but nah I’m not salty I think the stereotypes in the sport bike community are bad and we should all lead by example for each other and people coming behind us. I mean shit if u have the nerve to drag knee…u don’t think maybe let me do it right…instead of learning it wrong?? They are just creating a bad foundation instead of doing it right from the get go (body position). Maxy is a wheelie specialist, maybe…look at this guys crash rate lmao. I’m not salty. His riding is the epitome of what will get u or your buddy’s killed…smart ones like me watch and learn but others I see every day following that notion. I work at Cycle Gear and see it all the time.
