I find it funny that at the beginning he says scientists now know what the inside of Jupiter looks like but then later on mentioned that they don't know if it has a solid core or not. My guess is that it does have a solid core and that there is two of them spinning oppositely of each other pole to pole and each solid core is engulfed in metalic hydrogen acting as a viscose layer between the two solid cores as they spin.

Jupiter is my favourite gas giant, and I know quite a bit about it, Io is my favourite moon, the only volcanic moon in the solar system. The Juno space mission, and the Galileo mission were extraordinary. Shoemaker-Levy 9 was incredible, we weren't sure what the affect would be. Interestingly in the beginning, Jupiter's track into the inner solar system was suddenly stopped by the gravitational effect of another body, and pulled into the outer solar system, the formation of Saturn. I stand on my balcony here in Melbourne, Australia, looking at Jupiter, in absolute awe, it's over 740 million kilometres from Earth, and yet it's so clearly seen in the night sky, with the naked eye. Any videos on Jupiter, Saturn and their moons, would be amazing...

Jupiter could also plays it's part in our destruction too. The tugging on Mercury could eventually hurtle it either towards an impact with the Earth or throw it out of the Solar System.

I used to think Jupiter was scary but now that it saved us its not 😀
