I really like the brief overview of each game (what it's about, the merits to collecting it i.e. pure rarity or great gameplay or exclusivity). I didn't notice any change in the retronomics format. Just as good as always.
@@warehousedave7937 this more of an overview of a specific period of time instead of a snapshot of the previous year. Hoping that it won't be as out of date as time goes on.
Maybe when you revisit certain libraries after a year or more has passed, consider briefly covering the previous titles with a then vs now charting difference and then cover an additional batch of games that were not covered on the previous retronomics with a little more depth as seen in this video with the monthly price breakdown and overview of each title. You're the only RU-vid channel out there doing this type of content where specifically video games and their prices / trends are being reported and it's a great niche to continue to grow from imo. It's inherently evergreen content and has endless recurring content opportunities as all it takes is time to pass for new trends to be reported on. Long way of saying: even if you've covered a library several times before, you're not burning your audience out by revisiting it again for a fresh retronomics.

Honorable mention, Most Wanted 05'. It's a 360 launch title and was only released on the 360 for the 7th gen and majority of the copies were sold on the previous gen. A lot of people still don't know that it released on the 360 heck I didn't find out until last year lol.
Just a note about Nuts & Bolts, people who grew up with it rather than with the N64 games seem to love this game and find it really nostalgic. I have 2 close friends who both play this every year or 2 still. Wild
@@SuperNicktendo I've been playing through Rare Replay over the last few months because Starfox Adventures, Viva Pinata, and Jet Force Gemini were the only rare games I played. I didn't care for the OG Banjo games unfortunately, but haven't gotten to N&B yet.
@@GGFTV Kazooie was a fun collect-a-thon that didn't overstay it's welcome. Banjo Tooie... ugh that one is a one and done for me between the tedious backtracking and canary mary races. Tooie tried to hard to be an ambituous sequel and in doing so failed in re-creating what made Kazooie great.
I'm in the middle of retooling the series so that I can catch most of the wild price trends instead of just picking 25 games at random. But I'll keep this game in mind for the next video.
I got my copy for $8 on Newegg back in 2009 when they were clearancing the game. I don't regret that purchase and was glad i snagged it when I was cheap. I also got a copy of Zoids Assault from Newegg around that time for $3 sealed. I've still yet to open that game from the shrinkwrap.
It's definitely a high demand collector's game. Gets tons of watchers any time I list one on eBay. I think it's the most expensive, purely collector gamer demand game for the 360. (Not full set stadium events rarity value like formula 1 2013, and not ridiculous non collector demand like NCAA 14. This is the kind of game that gets a lot of attention at a retro game convention, for example)
@@warehousedave7937 correct, I do think it will drop down back to $60-$70 when hype is down. The game is niche, it’s basically a below average Valkyria chronicles clone.
@@AveryKiwi It's a game that's rough around the edges but once you get past it's faults there is a bit of fun to be had. With that said it's one of those games you kinda beat once and once you get all the achievements it feels like there is little incentive to play it again.

That’s because the licenses expired and physical is the only way to play those Spider-Man games, given how popular Spider-Man games are I highly doubt they will drop drastically in price
One thing I found disappointing about the switch version of Ghostbusters 2009 was the lack of online multiplayer. At the time I had heard the Xbox 360 version still had that. So I went to buy the Xbox 360 version and got a pretty cheap. I forgot though I needed XBOX Gold of course . My big critique about Ghostbusters 2009 is the game looks really dark, but maybe that was just the TV I was playing it on I don’t know. It’s gonna be really interesting when the Xbox 360 digital store shuts down next year.
Why is f1 2013 so expensive I have a hard time grasping what’s rare and what I should aim to buy first. This week I spent 1k on 30ish games the bulk of the money went to Operation darkness, darkest of days, armored core verdict day, blue dragon,knights contract, NCAA 14, the Incredible Hulk, and onechan. 22 dollars for the cheapest of the lot and armored and operation darkness being 79 and 89 usd respectively I don’t think I overpaid but I’m just curious as to why some are so expensive and which do I wanna knock out and collect first yk
I’d think that with how crippled the Xbox 360 became in online support after deprecation of the Xbox Live Gold service in favor of their initiative with GamePass, it’d stay just as worthless as the Nintendo Wii. PS2 only had the online support optionally so I feel that should be a console to look out for
