Aunque sean guapos y los mayores, pueden ser los malditos... En las leyes del Imperio otomano, cuándo un hijo subía al trono debía mandar a matar a todos sus hermanos y los hijos de estos, no importaba si fue el segundo hijo, o el último. A veces no importaba la sed por el poder, sino que se le tomaba por su inteligencia también. Había buenos sultanes, muy buenos, pero los tiempos y personas los cambiaron y les hicieron desconfiar, matar y destruir.

Es ficticia, ya que no se supo realmente las causas de muerte o si algunos personajes realmente existieron (los protagonistas si lo hicieron), pero los acontecimientos históricos... De verdad pasaron. Ya tiene rato que salió la novela, pero te vas a enamorar de los personajes, todos son muy guapos; además aprendes mucho de lo que fue el imperio más grande y poderoso del mundo. Te dire algo para que te des una idea... El Sultán padre, si tenía varios hijos y ya eran grandes, a cada uno lo mandaba a una provincia para que comenzara a mandar y aprendiera, por así decirlo, pero la cosa interesante era... ¿Hasta dónde te iba a mandar el Sultán? Podía mandarlos a provincias lejanas y a otros muy cercanas. Y ya todos los hijos sabían, que al que viviera más cerca del Sultán, es el que él había eligido cómo su sucesor. Porque en el momento en que el sultán muriese, el más cercano no tardaría nada en reclamar lo suyo. Esto es poco a lo que mirarás y descubrirás conforme lo vayas viendo. Es trágico sí, pero ya son otros tiempos y no hay más que aprender del pasado. Disfruta mucho la novela, cuándo la termines puedes seguir con «La Sultana Kosem».
