This trade for Brandon Aiyuk is definitely fair for both sides. Ravens give up 2 2nds, a 5th, and a Rashod Bateman, who’s best season was 500 yards (rookie season) and he’s in his last year for his rookie contract, since everyone knows the Ravens are not picking up his 5th year option because then his cap will be 14mil next year. Plus they traded Hollywood away instead of keeping and picking up his 5th year option, and Hollywood was way more productive during his time then Bateman. We still keep our 1st round pick this year in this trade scenario and can trade it away for more picks in this years draft or we draft the best Tackle available (Guyton or Mims) while trading for a #1 receiver for Lamar. The Ravens would win the draft! This trade is definitely fair for a receiver that is an all pro and just turned 26, he hasn’t even scratched the surface. He’s not your ordinary WR#1. He’s in a select few that is an all pro, which not a lot of receivers get those honors, and it’s very difficult to get selected with all the receiver talent in the NFL nowadays. If this is the deal, the Ravens should definitely want to do it or EDC isn’t “all in” after all.

You can say all you want, but it's not gonna happen.Because baltimore has no way to pay him, he wants a new contract due to being on 5th yr option of rookie contract, he would cost atleast 25M per season and don't use restructure contracts as excuse because it's been reported all top contracts have already been restructured to afford Henry, where right now they sit with only 9M where atleast 7M of that is needed for the draft class

⁠⁠@@adam7899 so wait, we have the same cap number as the Steelers who are trying to purse him too and we can’t go after him because of cap? And where’d you get the information “all top contracts were restructed” ? They only reconstructed Ronnie Stanley to save 10 mil in cap and make him a free agent next season, which will save the team even more cap next season. They can still restructure Roquan, Andrews, Marcus, or Marlon (even though they restructed Marlon in the past). Heck, they can convince Lamar for a restructure, knowing it can get him Aiyuk, which would save 11 mil in cap and he’s definitely willing to do it for a top tier #1 WR he’s never had in his career. So how about you stop making excuses.

⁠@@MadKingLordeus you talk about “save the money”, but it’s not your money, so why you worried about saving? Plus Bateman is at best a WR3. Aiyuk would actually complement and help the growth of Zay Flowers, which you’re probably not even thinking about. Zay and Bateman are not a good duo, and probably rank in the bottom half of the entire NFL. and I don’t understand the logic of Raven fans wanting Bate as the WR2 when him and Zay don’t help each other improve together.

his change of direction and acceleration were still elite last year. Boye Mafe couldn't run him down and he was one of the fastest defenders to come out of the draft last year, and theres vids of lamar not even running hard getting past him with ease. I will say the faster he is, the more the field is stretched and that leaves more room in the middle for king henry to attack. Read option is going to be so deadly next year, don't let us get up a touchdown or its over
