You know we are all made of and within this cosmos. I believe we are part of the evolution of the universe's own Will to understand itself. Logically we are exactly that, but we are also individuals as well as socially connected since before we were even human (homo sapiens sapiens). Within all of us, in our mind are structures that replicate the shape and form of the cosmos we are part with. We don't have to understand it explicitly (I don't think explicit understanding would actually be the correct way to understand it) But it is wonderful to see the shape and objective truth of reality, it undoubtedly helps us understand ourselves better, who ever we are.
