1983 Cosmopolitan Church of Prayer's very first reunion choir. If you look closely, you will see the choir master Dr. Ricky Dillard and Ad-Lib Queen DIanne WIlliams . Tell Me How Did You Feel: Cynthia Price
I would give anything to share this with Mama. We used to leave Fellowship's broadcast and RUN to Father Hayes'. This was one of our very favorite songs. You see this Mama? RIH.
Very sad we don't have Church like this anymore plus the musicians were very anointed u could hear it in their playing, my God can we go back to these days?
@@you_can_call_me_T in 20 minutes and 28 seconds that all you “observed” ? Look at it a few more times you might get a little more from it 🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️🤷🏿♂️
@@ramonpchi You look at it a few more times and you might realize that there's no sense in glorifying the past. The church has always had its mess. Don't ask Him to take you back. Ask Him how to reach people today. Today is all that matters.
I miss this so much why can't you reach be like this again. I sure do miss good old-fashioned Church like this there was nothing else like it. These people will for real living for God all about the Lord now I don't know what they're doing or what they're talking about or what they're singing about either
Sadly, there aren't many places that still give God the glory of praise like this. I remember being in services like this as a child. I always loved it when the Spirit was high in the service. It lifted my heart and still does. Now and then I will be in a service like this. Folk just seem stiff and scared to really praise freely these days.
Yeeeeeesssssss! Gloraaaaaayyyy! Now that's the kinda church I was use to back in the day! HALLELUJAH! And they not playing they not fakin it! They havin real down home til 2 and 3 in the morning church! PRAISE THE LORD SAINTS!
I used to love listening to Dr. Hayes and Cosmopolitan on Sunday evenings when they were on the radio. This song makes me want to get up and shout. Who is the choir director? Is he still alive?
Richard Turner this was back when "Uncle" Ricky was a member of my home church in East Chicago Heights(Ford Heights), at First Union Missionary Baptist Church. He was one of our choir directors.
I think it’s the lighting and the reflection of the camera. Also, they’re wearing white. With the dim lighting of the recording, you’re gonna to see through it. If you look closely, you can see through the choir director’s robe. I think it’s the lighting on the video.
THE SOLOIST DID A GREAT JOB BUT SHE SEEM LIKE SHE WASNT FEELING VERY GOOD AND SHE BECAME OVERWHELMED A FEW TIMES DURING THE SONG BUT IT IS STILL AMAZING HOW SHE GOT EVERYONE SHOOTING WITH GOD BEING THE SOURCE OF COURSE AND THE PASTOR LOOED LIE AN OSTRICH WHEN HE LIFTED UP HIS ROBE WHEN HE WAS "FOUR STEP SHOOTING"
