Lol a friend of mine has this weird thing where animals hate him..we took a drive about 45 minutes out and this grupé of geese were chillin at the entrance of this complex..he turns and looks at them (windows up) one hops up and spread it’s wings..starts charging and then the other 9/10 hopped up and went nuts..it was crazy. F*€k a goose!!

@@fairyj1464 Wellllll we kinda don't lol! Usually we are able to get out of the way when they run, so if a group of them seems like they are about to bolt we can get out of the way quickly. Being shoved around comes with the job, I work on a farm and that's pretty unavoidable. Headbutts are a little less common, but I find it's more common in crias (baby alpacas) who are not being cooperative when it comes time for us to work with them. Kicks.... kicks are the worst honestly. There's not much avoiding it, and it can really hurt. You can try to watch for body language, but usually you don't know until it happens. Some alpacas just have nasty personalities and we make sure we know which ones those are. Spitting is a little different. Usually, there are signs they are about to spit. They make this crazy noise and some tilt their head back a little. Alpaca spit is less like spit and more like vomit. It has this awful smell too lol. Normally we can grab their heads and turn them away before they can spit on us, or we just keep our distance. If we have to work with a specific animal who we know has a bad temperament, and is more likely to spit on us, we will grab a towel and a long shot. We will approach the animal holding up the towel in front of us, then we grab right below their chin, keeping them in control. Then what we like to do is we take the sock and put it over their muzzle area, rendering them unable to spit on us while we are working with them! It's a fun job none the less! It's very interesting, a lot of physical labor, and you definitely learn a lot. I actually might be leaving the farm soon, but it's unrelated to all this lol.
